Gotta be able to argue that down to low. He slowed down and tried to pull out of the contact. It's not like he hit him hard and the other guy was just a tough nut. The resulting non-injury was the most that was ever going to eventuate.

Roll a tape of all the high fend-offs, the ear clip that Harry himself copped, and argue that any of those incidents had greater capacity for injury given the force involved.

It'd be interesting for someone with IT skills to make a short vid of all the North incidents and then ask what the difference is with H...

For what it’s worth - Dunstall just said no way it’s medium impact - we will see.

AFL obviously needs to be seen to pull every trigger they can on head high impacts given the legal stuff going on.

Didn't even touch his head, it was in the shoulder.

Harry is still a big dumb idiot (as shown by his missed goal on the goalline) and this hit was late, but it wasn't high.

Football not what it once was. Officiated like a netball game . Should never get a week for that . Hope he gets off . Absolutely farcical
McKay getting a week for that is like Zurhaar getting suspended for the fend off the muppet running the show has got the mentality of a chicken.

Unfortunately, they have remained consistent with suspensions for head high hits

What's not consistent is the penalties they are dishing out, moreso only a week difference between the Kosi and Acres/McKay hits

I'd fight it, but think it will stand

Harry should have changed his approach before contact
The AFL have dug their own grave - careless opens the window.

The thing is the tribunal isn't interested in the afl making a stand. Their job is to adjudicate the case based on the rules the afl put in place. That system is a matrix which spits out a week for Harry based off the match review officer deeming the contact medium. If we can argue that's the wrong call he gets off.

Now if the afl wants to change their rules to say any head high hits no matter how minimal are suspendable that's a different matter but they have to stick to their own rules.
