Sam LaPorta (knee) practiced on Thursday and said he’s “optimistic” about playing in Sunday’s game against the Rams.
This is great news for LaPorta, who suffered a nasty-looking knee injury in the Lions’ Week 18 win over the Vikings. He and the Lions still have one more practice to go before game statuses are announced for Wild Card Weekend, but it sounds like LaPorta is trending in the direction of playing. We’ll see what happens come Friday, but fantasy managers participating in playoff tournaments will want to confirm his availability to determine whether or not LaPorta is worth a spot on rosters this weekend.

Packers HC Matt LaFleur said Jaire Alexander “rolled an ankle” in Wednesday’s practice and is day-to-day.
Alexander reportedly stepped on another player’s foot during the team’s job-through and rolled his ankle in what LaFleur described as “kind of a freak deal.” The Packers have two more practices to go before heading into the weekend, but Alexander’s status will be one to keep an eye on. The Packers face an uphill battle against the No. 2 seeded Cowboys and will need all hands on deck if they hope to stop Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.

I’d like this matchup for them if Watt was playing.

Bills have been playing a lot of ugly games lately and the Steelers are the kings of playing ugly right now
Watt is a big loss, but Highsmith, Golden and the dawn of the Nick Herbig era not to be deterred.

Yeah cool

Trumps no angel and I'm no fan of his either. So not sure why you are posting this to me
