I feel like the best three options all play in the same game. Sicily, Steele and Marshall.

Now that I'm likely not bringing in Laird, think I'll go Trac into Zerrett.

Think Trac gets a hefty lot of attention this week, but the only other option I have is Stewart, and Trac has the form on his side atm.

Bont has been a super safe C option this year, but the combination of the slippery, hot conditions in Darwin and the fact that he's potentially carrying a bit of a niggle has me leaning towards Zerrett, as he could go monstrous with O'Neill being omitted.

Sexy Tom Stewart will have Cogs and Green kicking it forward out of stoppages.

What's the record for intercepts?

Very true, I just tend to hate captaining players against GWS, as they throw out some weird tagging shit on the reg.

Maybe I'm still just dealing with Matt De Boer related trauma

Don't recall GWS tagging HBF's this year. They even let Daicos roam free for 41 touches - Leon would've tagged that man into the ground. Stewart is a great option, trading him in for Clarry due to bench woes so I've decided I'm going to go him into Bont.

Excellent. You and Maybe Tomorrow can be my scapegoats when Stewart goes for 80 and Petracca goes 150 😉

To further support Stewart, HBF/Intercept (Stewart kinda players like both) numbers vs GWS:

Darcy Moore - 110
Sinclair - 167
Wilkie - 109
Jake Lloyd - 106
Daniel Rich - 99 (had his most disposals this year vs them, 21 kicks)
Sicily - 91 (Hardwick scored 84 with 12 rebound 50's, so took a lot of his points but they were allowed to run free)
Redman - 128
Saad - 128
Jeremy McGovern - 116

Looking through that, Stewart is an absolute VC lock imo

Excellent work. May just do Stewart into Zerrett then.

Pretty locked in on Zerret C.

What's everyones pick out the following for VC: Gulden, RoMo, and Steele?

Gulden is tempting. Scored 156 and 119 in the last two games at the SCG.

Stewarts last three scores against gws are 74, 107, 100. Hardly filling me with confidence.

EDIT: Roma 173 vs hawks in r20 last year.

Looking at the notes, last year he played on the wing vs GWS for some reason so he scored 74 in Sydney.

2021 at GMHBA he was tagged by Buntine and still scored 107.

2020 in Sydney he played on Finlayson as a lockdown defender and scored 100 when Geelong lost and got belted in the stats (GWS had 9 players score over 100! Geelong just 3).

If you go back to 2019 which was at GMHBA Stewart scored 124 and that was in a game the Cats lost.

So in summary since 2019, at GMHBA vs Giants Stewart has scored 107 whilst being tagged, 124 in a losing game. Cbf looking further back than that as it becomes irrelevant. But I really don't think he's getting tagged by the Giants or playing on the wing again.

Anyways you can all come and flame me when he spuds it up for convincing you

I'm feeling Gulden as well.

173 for Roma was against McEvoy. 78 against Reeves earlier in 2022.
