I think hold Pou. I think you should be looking to bring in Pedlar and probably Chandler too. Feel free to screenshot team and post it here and someone will be able to assist with some ideas. Just ignore @Zevon my ideas

Pretty happy with my team. However there are players Id like in my side instead of McGrath and Serong who are cheaper. Which would then hopefully allow me to improve that backline in the future. But yeah, have no idea how to go about it.

we in the same boat....i dont think i can bring in green, because that would require a trade down from another premium mid... so it doesnt really make sense, when i got spuds i wanna get rid of

For me, i wanna get rid of bruhn and mcgrath, so im thinking young and setterfield, because daicos more likey to get tagged

Daicos has a mega restrictive team coming up, so I wouldn’t go there. Young was great but the Fremantle defenders went bonko in that game so if I wasn’t an owner I might want to see it one more week before jumping on (does have North though so should go well).

Would be Green or Setterfield then. Probably comes down to how important the extra cash is between them. Both have the role, the scoring and a soft matchup coming up.

Daicos I think has to be faded this week with Port tough to score against. He will probably go 120 now I’ve said it.

I have Jelly to deal with most likely barring a massive Hollands score that I can loop in so bit easier for me to grab Green.

I didn’t mind the idea above of Callaghan and Setterfield. Means no Chandler but that should be fine with those 2 generating cash and 1 less rook on field.

I have some uneasy feeling about Setterfield though. Where Rowell to me seems like after having a full season last year is where he will start to show us again why he was basically seen as the best draft prospect to come into the game in a long time, until those unfortunate injuries.

Yeah that Setterfield or Rowell trade might be the way to go. It’ll set you up for when not if Constable gets dropped

Not really sure how I feel about this. Don't really want to dump a Premo after one game, but I need the coin to pick up Chandler. Though, Green looks like he can match it in score (or better NA is this case) and has a much lower BE. Don't really have any other notable downgrade options. Bruhn maybe, to who?

Agree on Rowell. Easy to forget he was considered the second coming of Judd/GAJ combined when drafted.

I can go Kelly and Jones > Green and Cole/Constable but neither of those defensive options fill me with much confidence or inspiration. Where as Kelly > Rowell allows Jones > Day and that feels a lot stronger in my opinion. Means passing on Green though who with his early fixtures and form could average 110+ over the coming month.

I'd go Option 2 for now. Setters is no guarantee to outscore Bruhn.

I thought he would be in a shit forward role. I couldn't stretch to his salary in my structure. The Hb role was a slight possibility but a surprise

Good calls - be interesting to see whether Setterfield can maintain getting the ball when Merrett is tag free.

He was very good - have to look at the kicks that were 'poor' and what the options were. They were stationary at times the Hawks.

Nobody mentioning bytel. Didnt watch the game but he scored as much as callahan while being 100k cheaper. Only 20k more expensive than ashcroft and mackenzie and he scored more than them too. Isnt he a must have as well?
