Macrae on the bench means I'm staying with my trade. One of the biggest sooks in the game alongside Gaff, and I doubt he likes being pushed to the bench while Treloar, Bont, Smith and Libba are all named on ground. I honestly don't even care if he goes well, no Dogs mids are reliable anymore - so it's just not worth the headache.

You either have all of them or you have none of them, IMO.
Oliver in his 150th seems a tempting option.
Brayshaw should go 120 in the derby.

Is Macrae definitely on the bench though?

Constable as uncertain for Sunday actually makes the Macrae decision for me, as that's my cash-positive trade so need to do it now.

Money in the bank to either trade CC to Day, or Sheed to Day as planned if CC's named tomorrow. Uwland dropped gives a handy loop for Wilmot tonight.

I reckon Constable is in trouble looking at that bench.

One of Jeffrey/Chol (likely Jeffrey, played well enough)
One of Berry, Sexton, Oea
Two of Flanders, Constable, Powell

Only thing saving him would be if Flanders gets up, it's three forward type rotations out of four on that bench, but I reckon they probably plan for Flanders to be the mid rotation this week and push him further up field. Can't see why they'd name Powell (despite the vfl stats last week) if they weren't going to play him.

So can either stick with Macrae to Laird, or I can reverse it, and go Constable to Stocker if he doesn't make the cut, or Chesser to a rookie (Phillips, Bergman, Ryan) if he does. Ugh, heck this

Yep named on the IC now that Treloar's confirmed. Reckon someone at Sydney goes to Oliver (Mills most likely) - as he's been on a tear -, but Bray should go big, IMO

*, awkward number. Just short of both Doch -> Daicos into MacKenzie -> Ziebell and McGrath -> Day into Phillipou -> Ziebell

Could always go Doch -> Day, Chesser -> Ziebell and carry 70k into next week? Or Doch -> Day, Phillipou -> Darcy Cameron

Otherwise if you wanted to keep Doch, McGrath -> Daicos and a rookie fix up might just be your best play.
Thinking about the Doch to Day and Chesser to Ziebell

Think it'll be Jeffrey, Chol, Powell and Flanders, based on that list - with Constable or Sexton as sub. They'd want to give Berry a run soon too, so Constable's days are definitely numbered (initially flagged Round 3 as when he'd be booted, so will be interesting to see if that's what happens)

Was looking forward to throwing the C on C.C against his old side. 😉

Hmm flanders with mid time is 90+ player. Tempted to keep him this week based on your logic which sounds right.

Not starting Day and not being able to get Chandler due to forced trades has really hurt my cash gen.

$274k in the bank
Will probably go CC (assuming he is dropped/sub) > Stocker
Cowan > Caminiti?

Can't afford the luxury of trading Macrae this week

Constable extended bench with Uwland omitted makes me VERY nervous about committing to a Macrae trade before teams are finalised, as the only way to cover it would be either a s**t EMG or not trading Bruhn, neither of which are pleasant options.

FFS
Apparently, inside word is, Constable and Uwland both out

Sticking with Crae to Setters. campaignerstable to Billy Day if he’s out. Otherwise Ned to Ziebell
Very similar here (sorry mate)

Crae to Setterfield
Campaignerstable to Day if he’s out
Newcombe to Ziebell if he isn’t

Allowing for the potential Constable turfing, Steele>Jelly... then either Sheed or Callahan to Ziebell probably. Sheed will score better in the short term IMO but Callahan will make more coin

If Constable is out - assuming Wilmot doesnt go 70 which means ill hold, then Constable to Ziebell or Day

Not going to lie, I’m pretty outraged we weren’t warned that Constable was no good and might be dropped.

Now who do I blame?? Shadow89 for not bothering to tell us, or tigs2010 for not pestering him with enough Geelong (and ex-Geelong) related questions in the pre season?

Anybody got a spare Mexican girl gif I could borrow??

With Constable likely out thinking:

Phillipou > Van Rooyen
Constable > Stocker

Means fading both Naicos and Setterfield which feels gross.

Constable being a possible out throws a spanner in for everyone. I structured up to make sure he was at D5 waiting for this. Still not ideal after he was pretty good the last few weeks. Will look at dropping him to Chandler with DPP and then get Setterfield for Sheed/JHF.

Macrae holds for me. Just much a hold in hope.
