This might not be the blessing we think it is. Dew has a record of completely boning their 4th/5th mids unless it's Swallow. Often 50-65% TOG and still only 30% CBAs as Anderson/Rowell/Miller get 90% each. Fiorini also got no on-ball time last week. I suspect it's Swallow, and Flanders (if selected) might just pus up to cover his Wing while he's in there.

If you held Constable one more and ran Cowan on the field, what utility would that second trade offer? Is there a reality where you run Cowan on the field to allow you to keep Setters and then bring Ziebell in anyway? Might be a worthwhile 'bad choice'

That is with Macrae to Setterfield locked in. 287k in the bank

Can do JHF or Callaghan to Ziebell this week instead and hold Constable and get Cowan score.

Other decision post trade is who to field out of Hollands, Chandler, Pedlar or maybe Philipou. Probably one of the first two.

Just found a loophole. Don't want to broadcast it - so PM me if you want it.

Yeah, I think in your case Constable to Day probably makes sense.

OK, dust has settled on the Macrae consternation. I made the move and I'm good with it. I'm happy to Broke it off with hi,

27pts almost half way through the second was enough for me, forget that he then piled on a monster finish to that quarter. He then started slowly again in Q3 and came home strong. 111 would've been nice to bank as he was never my VC option but I'm good with saying goodbye.

To continue my breakup analogy, its like I've seen my ex out at a bar and she's got her best look on and reminded me what I saw in her, but then she slapped a bouncer for asking her to be quiet and threw up on some blokes shirt so I know why I did it.

Fare thee well Jack.

Anyone regretting the call they made?

These are my only options for Constable replacement... BigFooty Forum - HELP ME!

Ouch.

OK maybe Hunt (given you're an Eagle) then Campbell, Buckley, Wilson? No idea really.

You've just asked who I'd rather listen too calling my favourite sports for the rest of my life and then given me this list;
Kelli Underwood
James Brayshaw
Jobe Watson
Matthew Campbell
Gary Lyon

Give me none thanks.

Is Stocker's role and scoring potential real?

Deciding between going Bruhn down to Ryan, which allows me to go Constable to Setterfield and moves Hollands or Mckenzie to the bench.
Only issue is I would then be fielding Cowan.

Second option is Bruhn to a much better rookie, probably Chandler as I don't have him, and then Constable to Stocker.
Gets Cowan off field.

Option 1 leaves me with a midfield of

Laird/Brayshaw/Green/Setterfield/Worpel/Callaghan/Ashcroft/One of Hollands/Mckenzie, but would be running three rookies on field in the backline (One which is Ginbey.

FWIW I went Stocker based on feedback from a Saints mate I trust and what I saw week 1 myself live. Based on that I believe Stocker's role and scoring is real and may even bump up in the next month.

I didn't have the Constable issue to remedy and already have Setterfield so it wasn't a choice between the 2 for me. I did decide that getting one of the rookies off my field down back (I had 3) was a high priority though.

Is there a Gold Coast press conference today ?

Would love it if they identified who the sub would be today. Because I'm not sure I can hold Constable to try and loop for Wilmot if he's a chance at being the sub. So looks like Flanders will get another week (assuming he is also named, which he should be, and hopefully will get some actual midfield minutes with Fiorini out).

Hunt? Sub 20 BE and his 80 odd last week will stay in his 5 game average longer than his sub par round 1 score. Looked good last week too (better than Jones at least :moustache:).

It'll be a hell of a ride, and likely one you'll be glad to get off. I jumped ship after his R1 effort and then watched on in dismay at this R2 effort.

For those of you planning to use Cowan to cover for Constable, bit of talk he'll be a late out too...

It’s all good I have either Chesser or McVee as cover….

I might have to hold Flanders if that is the case and risk Uwland or Cowan to Hamilton….

Bugger, this was what I figured out (Laird to Atkins, DPP switch Atkins and Constable, Edit trade again Atkins to Dawson)

But Warnie knowing it means they'll fix it soon I'm sure. Annoying.

Why is that annoying?
