Toast 2023 Swans Board Phantom Draft

Despite my ZZ love, I’m not going there in my St Kilda guise.

Instead, St Kilda select Ashton Moir.

A dud draft year, but I’m taking the punt that his injury issues will resolve and he’ll become the “how on earth did we miss him???” story of this draft.

The King! …. you’re back up.

Mother flip was the one I was surprised was still there

well that's a surprise...

Ok we at Carlton think after finishing top 4 we are almost there, heck we beat the Pies, we also have Campos kids next year coming along.

Imo the blues list is even , maybe the reserve mid depth is lacking, but they have some prospect on the list. I am tempted to go for Murphy, but Carlton think they are ready now and he is a few years of development away, we dont develop here at Ikon Park or whatever it is now if we can avoid it

So I am going Will Graham, he is a strong contested mid and we just lost Dow from our depth and Suns may not have the points to match him?

Someone who knows let me know if they can please

if they cant i suspect the eagles will be happy

Suns are already in deficit, but they have late picks. So if they are fine with screwing over their 2nd round next year, they can match.

anotherletdown - Will Graham match?

As the Fat Controller would say:

“You have caused confusion and delay”.

Well Carlton are kidding themselves. They are not almost there, plus they've already set the price for a 3rd year midfielder that couldn't develop properly. See what Dow went for. I don't want to do this but can't accept any more destruction of next years draft capital. I'll see you in 3 years. Pass

Enjoy The King!

If I’m WCE I’m trading this pick by the way just letting you know I’d trade down for two picks in the mid to late 20’s.

However with our second round pick I’m prepared to take the gamble on Zane Zakostelsky.

There’s obviously a bit of a hail mary with where he fits but he out of all the players in this range has the most chance to be A grade. Personally see him starting down back but I do see him eventually being a tall midfielder. For the record wasn’t my top choice and I did consider Murphy but don’t see wCE needing a real true lockdown.

Grand Uncle Horace you are up with pick 24

Georgie Porgie, pudding and pie
Dissed the Roos And made them cry
when the Blooooz came out to play
Georgie Porgie ran away

With Hawkins near retirement we need a bloke, so chumpy you could carve him.

Geelong pick 24: George Stevens

Yep. You then Rusty.

Ok just been out watching our 1995 grand final highlights, seems so long ago.

Ok well we have Weitering and Durdin and can afford to develop a tall defender, I am going to keep it simple, he has fallen low, we are taking Ollie Murphy, seems next best left as well.

Needs to add weight, but good in the air, a promising project player.

now we look forward to our next pick tuesday lunch
rustycrate you finally get a go at Richmond.

Asking for a friend robbieando, did you wipe out all of Hawthorn's picks when you forced Hawthorn to match your Will McCabe (f/s) pick?
