No Bedford is not ideal, but at least we have three big ins.

The fact that we're playing XOH is a massive surprise. I wonder if he'll be the sub.

Kingers alluded to the fact that he liked what Keeffe was providing for us and that Riccardi might not be preferred the option. Looks like they decided to go with Keeffe for the backup ruck option.

Harvey Thomas stiff to miss after being top 22 all year virtually. I do agree with the decision though.

We'll miss bedford's defensive pressure. I'd give Peatling the run with role.

Very surprised that Keefe held out Riccardi.

Cumming or McMullen the sub.

Not the place for this, but thought if we lose Perryman, McMullen has the skills to do that role with an offseason working on it. unless they have mid field minutes in mind for him (which they might)

Goulden has torn us up in the past

I think we need to send Bedford to him and run a hard tag. Warner is still a threat but we can’t tag them all
I get the logic, difficult player to tag. I think the tagger will have more success on Warner or Heeney

I reckon someone will tag that has not tagged before. I think there will be a surprise position shift

They would have known Bedford wouldn’t get up, and they also know there is 4 sydney players that need tagging.

Who can do it ? Could X be a tagger do you think ? Ward maybe ?

It will be interesting to see how we handle this. Jordon has been quite effective at minimising Lachie’s involvement and impact.
funny enough, at a thing where kingsley spoke at, someone asked about the Tag. He said, on review of the tape, it was our players not handing off as he ran past in space. Said on a number of occasions' (he actually said how many) he ran to space to be damaging and wasnt used. That was in our down patch where we had a few out and were out of form.
He said the effectiveness of the tag was very much overstated.
We'll see.

Ward and Cogs will both have accountable run with roles you'd think, but wont tag as such. (actually maybe Ward will, he tagged Bonts the first time we played them)

I think they will be too strong for us. Their midfield, with three AA’s this year will be too good.

Hope I’m wrong.

Think McMullin starts especially with Thomas not playing. Need that small pressure forward role.
True, which pretty much guarantees XOH as the sub.

I don't think we'll play a dedicated tagger without Bedford. Peatling is a good defensive mid who lays a lot of tackles. We'll him in in Snooze's stead and let him go to work. But I don't think he'll be running with any player in particular.

XOH is in the starting team which implies he is in the 22

I hope we win, if not, pray Carlton don't win.
Imagine us vs Carlton when tbe winner plays Cats at MCG.
I wonder what the AFL would want???
