Looking at Google Satellite, it should be a wind across the ground. 40km/hr winds they are saying .
Id imagine if your kicking to the left of the TV screen, you'd want to aim the ball to the left. If your kicking to the right of the TV screen, you'd want to aim for the right.

Looking at true north bearing, if I was a guessing man (and not being in Sydney at the moment), i reckon that wind advantage is a tad favourable kicking to the left of TV screen. But knowing Sydney, that wind can swirl around during the game.
