Some of these goal reviews my gosh. If you can't tell if that's a goal then you shouldn't be a goal umpire at local lever full stop. It's all because of that one off after the siren goal for Adelaide that has caused this.

Most of the reviews arent needed imo. Cameras suck and never at the right angle or too unclear to tell if its touched so "umpires call". Just slows the game down to get to the same spot 99% of the time

Then they get the Keays one wrong anyway lol

The Keays one wasn't sent for a review by the goal umpire, that was the problem ..The silly goal umpire thought he was confident to call it a goal, so he said goal. When really he should have actually had it reviewed for snicko.. to show the truth.

I really think if we got rid of it we'd be no worse off. Same with VAR in soccer, i dont think its made it better having a guy offside by a pubic hair. Umpires calls were fine before

This round has been ****ing farcical for reviews regardless though. Goal umpires are a joke for it

Darcy, Close, Dempsey, Bont, Gallagher, Miers AGS 0.1U @ 46 (PB)

Both multis have a real shot of getting up, just need a Miers goal for both to get up....Miers has had a really good game, a goal would polish that performance off.
