I actually think your bet is good after having a look at it, just not sure the ground dimensions stuff is relevant.
his price is what it is based on his goal average mostly, also has to do with the the teams expected goals.
a quick look he has actually had 19 shots at goal in his last 20 matches, only scoring on 14 of them.
$3.50 is very good for someone having almost a shot a game.

Odds have come in, but still $2.08/$7/$29. I have put more units on than I should have (mostly with bet returns).
Has only had 12 shots on goal in 12 matches. Which isn't great for kicking 2+, BUT ....has been sub in 8 of his 12 matches.
He has an average 41% TOG. If you double that (bringing it almost exactly to league average), then he is taking an avg of 2 shots on goal per game (time-adjusted). Which is MUCH better.

He has kicked a grand total of just 4 goals against his old side, going goalless in 3 of the 6 contests.
For the rest of his Essendon career, he averages almost 1.8 goals a game.
He looks great so far this year and I love backing mercurial players in contract years, but the Doggies have not been a happy hunting ground for Jakey since making the move to the dark side.
