What do we get from playing Campbell? We got slaughtered in the middle last week until he was subbed off, and he's literally the oldest bloke on the list.

Nothing. What do we get from playing Campbell? We got slaughtered in the middle last week until he was subbed off, and he's literally the oldest bloke on the list.
Membrey is the best fwd who didn't play on the weekend but I dont think he's tall enough to play as the number 1 so if he does come in, we likely need someone else as well.
Keeler is only 1 week back from injury. He probably needs at least 2 more at that level before even being considered.I would debut Keeler, maybe Moose to play mainly forward and to chop out Marshall in the ruck.
Personally I would go for Keeler as he is much more mobile. But i would play him in a mobile role.
Sharman FF.
One of Owens or Pou in the forward line. Not both.
The rest smalls who can apply tackling pressure.....plus Higgins.

Exactly, so imagine what he'd do to Heath on debut. With how physical he is he'll fold Heath 2x over and force him into early retirementGrundie is on the top of his form at present, so hopefully not.
And Heath vs Grundy wouldn't?Campbell in the ruck against Grundy would be one of the worst selection moves made under this coaching group.
We get to push Marshall forward to cover King. You may argue Heath over Campbell, but the physical style of Grundy would kill Heath at the first centre bounce. Would much rather give Heath another week before debuting vs O'Brien of Adelaide who is a much more favourable matchupWhat do we get from playing Campbell? Excellent counter-argument palI'd rather footballers do what we pay them to do. As I have said, it's a football match not a traumatic event.
Time to find out.

It's about finding the right time - like literally anything in life. Why would you throw him against one of the most physical and high-quality rucks in the competition and put him at risk of devoided confidence and not just wait one week for the perfect opportunity? His "spunk" - you're a funny guy. Ironic you talk about football being about coaching - what you're suggesting is literally the opposite. It's been 100+ weeks since he's been drafted, it doesn't hurt to wait one more. How do we find out about our youth if we are petrified to play them?
Footballers need to be coached and encouraged, not molly-coddled. I reckon Heath has enough spunk to perform admirably against three-club Brodie.
You missed the part where Heath only performs when he's the number 1 ruck. He's not a no2 ruck nor a key forward, struggles when playing majority of matches there. Keeler has taken around one centre bounce in about 12 months, I don't think so.You missed the part where I said I would keep Roma as the No1 ruck against Grundie.
Keeler or Heath to just give Roma a chop out, and so only be rucking occasionally and often not against Grundie at all.

And who tf is Grundie?

Heath would at least have the excuse of being an inexperienced kid rather than a 32 year old career backup. And Heath vs Grundy wouldn't?
No Phillipou?Surely can’t go with Campbell again. Looked like he was playing a different sport last week and TBH it’s embarrassing he’s still on our list.
Marshall is our #1 ruck, let’s not turn one problem into two.
In: Howard, Sharman, Membrey, Garcia
Out: Caminiti, King, Campbell, Dow
Dow turning into a real non contributor. Hopefully he’s just injured.
