Too late for that shit now campaigners. If North want to get another pick it will be F1 for just 11 or GTFO and that depends who we draft with our earlier picks.

Move along povo North with your shitty pick 2.
What!! You’d give them 11 for their F1? I wouldn’t

Not yet sure if he’s injury prone or that he simply keeps breaking down due to poor/lack of preparation. Hopeful that once he’s in a professional AFL system he’ll get his body right.
here's a piece from an article on lalor yesterday:

Injury was an unfortunate theme in Lalor’s draft year.

He hyperextended his right knee late last year and that dragged into the pre-season – sidelining him from his week with Western Bulldogs as part of the AFL academy – then hurt his right hip playing cricket for Geelong Grammar, which kept him out of the early Talent League rounds.

A right ankle setback cost Lalor another month, and there was also a quad issue, but the biggest blow came in September when he suffered a season-ending grade three strain to his left hamstring tendon.

“It was tough because I haven’t had a base, and there was a lot of expectation through the year, especially going into the [under-18] champs, and I was under-prepared,” he said. “I don’t think I’ve been at my best all year.”

dude was extremely underdone and still produced what he produced. if the club picks him, gotta back them to get his body right and the sky is the limit. reading that though it's looking like there's a chance the hammy was because he was well underdone, iirc he even tried to keep playing once he had done it

23. TRADE: West Coast - Matt Whitlock

Murray Bushrangers/Vic Country
DEF/FWD, 199cm

Trade: Richmond trades pick 23 and a future third round pick for West Coast's future first round pick tied to Hawthorn and their future second round pick

28. TRADE: Geelong - Luke Trainor
Sandringham Dragons/Vic Metro
DEF, 194cm

Trade: Richmond trades pick 24 for Geelong's future first-round pick

No chance of these trades happening.
Whoever wrote this needs to be kneecapped. Or at least their hand cut off.
If we are trading live picks tonight, it needs to be (not heavily, but weighted towards) in our favour.
A straight swap for Geelong's pick is outright dumbness.

3 live trades by us tonight.
1/2/8/13/20/24/29 & F1(Nths)
So you've got us trading:
  • 6 & 11 to North for 2 and F1
  • 18 & 23 to St Kilda for 8
  • 10 for 13 & 29
Is that right?

I like it, but I don't think St Kilda would.

Yeah it's going to be a top 5 pick next year but that's the highest I'd go. Pick 18 would be better but that means North need to win the flag lol
They will be absolutely desperate to get back in. Pick 2 then 62 in this draft? Good job Mr Bean.
Same with the Shats, but I wouldn’t trade with them under any circumstances with respect to this draft. Just take Trainor and completely piss them off. Do them no favours

rather just take luke trainor as suggested then grab a late teens pick (look at their draw!) from the cats.

Agree. There is no upside to this whatsoever unless a 2nd rounder is thrown in as well.

Big Footy logic:
  • Richmond's F1 is worth more than 2 top 10 picks (e.g. 7+8 from Saints or 5+9 from Melbourne)
  • Norths F1 is worth no more than a mid-late 1st rounder (e.g. our pick 18)
  • Richmond late 1st round picks are all worth good F1s (e.g. Essendon, St Kilda etc)
i really do not mind us going after 5 and 9 from Melbourne with a future 2025 first( even if number one) and later 2024 picks.

Melbourne would need incentive to do it of course

The pick 23 trade can't happen anyway. Didn't we trade away our F3 during the trade period?

So you've got us trading:
  • 6 & 11 to North for 2 and F1
  • 18 & 23 to St Kilda for 8

Nah.
6 & 23>>norf
11 & 18>>stk

I agree with some of the late stuff people are expecting more than we will get.

But I think it's pretty safe to say our F1 is pick 1 (possibly 2 at worst) whereas Norths could be anything, at some point they will bounce. Sheezel & Wardlaw could be in for a 3rd year jump in level and then you could be looking at pick 8-10. What if they do a Hawks next year?

even worse, what if they do a Hawk Tuah?

The fox sports bloke Ben Waterworth has nfi

"the Bombers will consider parting with one of their future first-round picks on the night for a player that has slid down their order and is still available after matching an Isaac Kako bid. They’ve been strongly linked to Bendigo Pioneers forward Jobe Shanahan"

A top 20 pick in a superdraft.... try 2 x future firsts moron. Clearly a druggo supporter, delusional or both.

You think that might be because we are red hot favorites to finish last in 2025 and that pick gets you a guaranteed player like Sharp ? where the rest could go anywhere in a compromised draft.

Dont post for a while just read and maybe learn
