Not when Sharp ends up the better player
Who cares if he ends up a better player
As long as gos who will end up playing for us contributes to a premiership or more .
Then sharp can 10 brownlows and 10 mvp and I would still be happy

So is my boy Jack Ough but no-one be giving him any love (which is why he is so good with his hands I suppose)
LOL

On a serious note, I like him for a pick in the 20's

North wants either 6 & 10 or 6 & 11 for 2 and F1. No way would I be happy giving up those 2 picks for FOS. I'd rather 3 of Smith Smille Reid Langford Armstrong Allan Travaglia Shanahan Lindsay Hotton.
I would do #6 + #11 for #2 and F1

The top 5 picks next year will be great and a combination of Dyson & Ludowyke is tantalizing

Lalor , Fos , Dyson would be a great combination in the midfield and could pickup Hynes later

Tassie will reduce our access to top picks though. I'm having flashbacks to the years we picked up Brandon Ellis and Reece Conca while GC and GWS took the guns
Brando was a good player.

Still got a few drafts before that happens.

Conca was a shit pick but Ellis definitely wasn’t
Played 250 odd games across his career and was an important part of the puzzle in 17’ especially

Very good business for a pick 15 who delivered exactly how he was projected

Not confident that North remains in the bottom 5 myself. They showed enough this year to win enough games next year to climb the ladder and it's possible that they could even become the next Hawthorn if they get on a run. They lost 5 games by under 20 points and 3 of them were under 6 points.

In 6 + 10/11 you're not giving up 2 picks for just FOS though, it’s for FOS + Greeves/Rodriguez/Duursma.

Also you don’t get 3 of the guys you listed you get 2.

They’ll be trying to win in 2025

Did you want to list those 5 games or ignore the fact they were

Dees - 3 points
Pies - 1
WCE (in Tassie) - 5
Blues (in 2nd half of year) - 19
Dogs - 17

They also only just beat us(13 points), GC in melb (4), wce (in Perth by 9) and got pumped by dogs by 96 points in 2nd game.

They’ve also sold two home games to WA. So they’ll have 2 less home games then rest of comp.

Even if they won 10 games this year they would have still been bottom 4 in 2024
They have sold 2 home games to WA but even bottom 6 is still worth the trade as there will be kids like Lalor Jagga that bolt up the charts and become better players in their final year

Next years draft is fine upto 10 kids if we rated FOS highly enough thats a great trade but NorF could also cop injuries and drop to bottom 2-3 as well and would be a fantastic result for that trade

Top 1-5 are where you get your star players and this year the top end just looks way too even to say there is a Dyson Sharp like standout

He’s basically the same age as Jagga at the start of this year but he’s a lot taller. I would see no harm in taking him with our last pick if we didn’t get a similar type midfielder already.

Brando was an excellent pick 15. It would be better to have been picking 7 or 8 picks earlier though or whatever it would have been. Doesn't Tassie take over the draft in 2026? So we have one more less diluted draft!!!

Sorry they come in and play in 2028 so I assume they get some concessions in 2026 and then they will take the bulk of the first round in 2027 I imagine.

They conceded 2550 points. This potentially means their close losses were lucky to be close. I would have to review their season but if they had a soft draw and got teams at the right time, it could be a whole lot worse next year.

On the other hand, we copped Hawthorn twice in the second half of the year.

We got St Kilda and West Coast when our list had been smashed with injuries. Carlton just beat us when we lost Prestia, Gibcus and Young in the same game.

And he will. This draft is deep not super elite at the top end. We'll get some strong players this year but Sharp is the next generational talent and we're in the box seat.

If we've got 6, 10 & 11 we get 3 of those players I listed.

If we traded for pick 2 to get FOS, then we only get 1 of them.

Given the lack of quality and depth on our list I'd much rather the approach where we add quality & depth to the list, while we have the draft hand that we do.

Im thinking if #10 for #13 + #29 is available that would be a great result for Richmond and we should take that deal
I feel we get the same player we intend to if we have no interest in Travaglia and Allan which i dont believe we have
Port - Travaglia
Eagles - Allan
Richmond - Reid / Berry / Hotton / Shannahan with #13

Conca got injured he wasn’t shit

In fact before he ripped his hammie of the bone in the 2014 finals he was tracking pretty well

Probs would have preferred heppel but not by that much tbh
