Could Langford make it as a good afl player who plays either key foward or third tall foward who rotates into the middle? Or is he seen as a mid first and foward second?

I dunno

it is all too hard.

If Blair, with his connections thinks Smillie is more likely, maybe we are better off keeping our picks and getting him and see what happens.

we have time and scope to experiment with a few different roles with him along with other combinations

Too me Smillie is not a great player, certainly not yet, he is a interesting 195cm prospect though. I actually think his best position is a blank canvas, I do not see him necessarily as a inside mid general necessarily as opposed to a hybrid of sorts, but that is okay for us because RFC are trying to mould a team should not have a set structure yet and have time and scope to set up a little differently.

thinking about this some more, he could drift a little back

The above chart is based on the Top 30 Players on Rookie Me Central Draft Guide

I thought it would be helpful for people to have a quick access to how these players are rated across 9 different categories. Some interesting rankings when compared to the opinions we have had on players across the board. FWIW this is done using a combination of 7 people rather than just the one person and has been fairly accurate across the last few years that they have produced this content.

Leo Lombard not elite at speed or agility🤣🤣🤣

Going by this the Bo Allan should be number 1 pick - has 4/9 elite, more than anyone else lol

Pick 23 and 24 are enough for Essendon's F1 and Melbourne F1. I wouldn't be trading out picks 10 and 11.
Not advocating trading 10 & 11 For Essendon & Melbourne F1’s. Pick 11 & 29 is for both. Big win. Read it before your respond incorrectly.

With our seemingly willingness to trade with Port for their 13 and 29 for our 10, we've obviously earmarked someone we are confident will be still available at 13 and thus allowing us to pick up 29 for "free". That tells me it could be a bit of a bolter. Who do we think we have in mind? Jack Whitlock? Harry Oliver perhaps? Faull?
It's Whitlock - certain of it.
Personally I prefer all of Armstrong, Shanahan and Faull
