You conveniently left out 10 and 18.
Would look more like:
1/2\6/11/20
Or
1/6/10/11/18/20

Not sure I want that trade. Forget pick FOS.
Didn't conveniently leave out those picks.
Was more what our first 3 picks would look like.

I genuinely would not be against us taking Draper at 1 or trading up to take him at 2.

I hadn't looked much into him till the last few nights, he is seriously impressive.

Could almost argue the pick of the trio when comparing Lalor / FOS / Draper.

Lalor/Draper are right at the top of my wish list. They’d compliment each other perfectly in our midfield with a combination of speed, power and their ability to hurt opposition on the inside and outside . However will be extremely surprised if Draper ends up in the Y&B.

True. People banging on about getting Cadman. Will prob cost 2 first round picks. Better off just getting Armstrong at pick 11 (if he is still available).
And Armstrong is a bust?
We'd wait 5yrs before declaring it.
2029 same kp boat as today without a paddle.
You know what your getting with Cadman.

I like the idea of taking a key forward but Armstrong ain't it. I was once a champion chf myself so I know these things. Shanahan is the guy, yes he lacks a bit of mongrel and he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but how smart do you need to be to play football anyway. I think he'll turn out fine with a bit of confidence and experience.
Keep healthy Royce

1. Jagga
6. Langford
10. Tauru
11. Travaglia
18. Moraes
20. J. Whitlock
23. Faull
24. Dodson
I think I've generally felt negative toward every relatively reputable mock/phantom draft I've seen so far.

2 SA kids could be on our radar not much media hype , but talented. One Vic Metro kid.

My issue with him is his kicking at that pick has to be 💯

The supremely talented Sam Lalor appears to be firming as the favourite to be taken at pick 1 in next weeks National Draft. Unfortunately, calling these FULL season highlights is rather wishful thinking on my part as Lalor suffered through a series of injuries in 2024 which severely limited the amount of footy he was able to play.

My Current Draft Wish List (October ranking)

1. Jagga Smith - Midfielder (1)
2. Sid Draper - Midfielder (2)
3. Sam Lalor - Mid/Forward (3)
4. Finn O'Sullivan - Midfielder (4)
5. Josh Smillie - Midfielder (7)
6. Murphy Reid - Midfielder (9)
7. Harvey Langford - Midfielder (6)
8. Alixzander Tauru - KPP (8)
9. Harry Armstrong - KPF (5)
10. Bo Allan - Midfielder (10)
11. Jack Whitlock - KPF (15)
12. Matt Whitlock - KPP (16)
13. Xavier Lindsay - Midfielder (14)
14. Jobe Shanahan - KPF (13)
15. Alex Dodson - Ruck (19)
16. Tobie Travaglia - Mid/Defender(12)
17. Taj Hotton - Mid/Forward (17)
18. Jesse Dattoli - Mid/Forward (18)
19. Joe Berry - Forward (22)
20. Christian Moreas - Mid/Forward (20)
21. Cooper Hynes - Mid/Forward (21)
22. Luke Trainor - KPP (11)
23. Jonty Faull - KPF (23)
24. Jack Ough - Def/Midfielder (24)
25. Hamish Davis - Mid/Forward (25)
26. Tom Gross - Mid/Forward (26)
27. Kayle Gerreyn - KPF/Ruck (27)
28. Ollie Hannaford - Forward (28)
29. Harrison Oliver - Defender (29)
30. James Barrat (NR)

My top 7 are now all midfield types, with the top 4 unchanged. Smillie climbs back into my top 5, while Reid climbs into the top 6 and drops Langford down 1 spot. The biggest changes come with the elevation of KPP/Ruck with 6 of the next 8 being filled by them, which ties in with my desire to see us address the lack of quality young talls on our list, especially up forward and in the ruck. The top 20 is then rounded out by mid/forward types who can add some class and X factor inside 50, while also pushing up into the midfield as they develop. Trainor is the biggest fall from the edge of the top 10 to outside the top 20 which comes off the concerns some have about his being a concussion risk, which has to be taken into account. In saying that he could prove to be a steal for a club with 1/3 of the picks in the first round who could take a punt as the kid is certainly talented enough. I've got roughies in the mix for being picked up late 1st/early 2nd in Ough Davis & Barrat and I wonder if tigs2010 is a still a fan of Davis, while everyone has a soft spot for Jack Ough

Hes impressed me the most - Im just a mug punter and dont put in the time some of the more distinguished campaigners on this board do, but i'll ssay it again- he's very impressive, he seems to be the only genuine real burst away mid in this draft, none of the others seem to have it.
