Probably harsh on Chandler to be fair but Hores last game was aweful. Probably more concerned about the guys who still couldn't get a game this year with the injuries, retirements and general poor team form.

Worried we are not being aggressive enough with our list management. Could just be a bad contract thing, expect we will see a lot of turnover at end of 2025.
The last part one could argue Goodwin refused to drop players despite poor form. In regards to not being aggressive enough in recruiting, I think the the club looks like a dump ATM from the outside and no decent player wants to come here. Need to fix that image first before we can trade in again.

As others have said before, it ain't about our depth at all. It's about how we use our players and the game plan.

Bedford was depth, James Jordon was depth. Look at them both now.
Yeah, gameplan has a big day but depth looks thin or at least limited as we won't use them to their strengths and put to much faith in the senior regulars.

D'Ambrosio, Ginnivin, Dempsey and Kai Lohman were all running around in their teams 2's before either being traded for peanuts or breaking into the team on the back of injuries.

Most years you wouldn't even know who any of the delistings even are. Usually dominated by rookies and forgotten guys who haven't been AFL relevant for several years.

Just been surprised by some of the names popping up as they either played a lot this year (and pretty well) or are a high-ish draft pick from only 2 years ago which is also very unusual as well.

I think it was Paul Roos that said about the combine that the only thing you look at is the 2km time trial and their character.

The rest is just how they play footy.
Circling back to Paul Roos, I wouldn't put too much stock into what he says these days:

So is James Jordon and Tom Sparrow. Whats your point Roosey?
You're 100% right. There are so many player through history that have medals that contributed feck all.

But as for the trade itself. I look at it in totality and think it was a win-win.

Salo was a big part of our 2021 season and i think his interrupted seasons over the past 3 years are a big reason why we've struggled. We got Jayden Hunt who was a good role player and is still running around the league. And whilst the wheels fell of Tyson big time, his first year or 2 with us are underrated when you look at it in context (his age and how shyt we were).

Josh Kelly, one single All-Australian at the biggest bunch of chokers in the AFL, we've made bigger draft howlers than that.
Look away, Dees fans - here's what your starting team could have looked like!

Then they chuck Nic Naitanui in at first ruck, but keep Jack Watts on a half-forward flank.
