Anyone know if you can see what the projected average of a player is with Morerias Magic guide ?

You can sort by projected average, but can't see anywhere on the profile where it actually says what it is.

Think he avoids providing that for the purposes of not being called out if he gets a prediction wrong.

With a good and reliable set of predicted averages, picking a starting team becomes more mathematical than anything else.

None that I'm aware of. It's not an official preseason game. I imagine the stat heads out there will knock something up though. How long it will take and whether they share it or not is another question.

With my limited time spent so far this season, I have the Ball Boys podcast on. They've had a decent series inviting other Fantasy community personalities onto their show for some banter and Q&A.

I started with the Ball Boys last season, and initially their content was excellent .....however, this year, they've gone for content volume ....and basically, they've lost credibility with me

I still find the PodPod content to be excellent ....with so many top 10 finishers contributing

Coaches Panel, and fanatics are also worth a listen

They've got a series on each team, on youtube .....well worth a listen ...they also give great game advice and strategy

Hat Chat is pretty good, listened to it at the start of last season but trailed off due to time constraints, but they’re good purely becuase they actually offer up alternative options and PODs rather than the same ten players every other pod does

Your middle 5 are my 5. I'm too poor to pay for fantasy content and Plus 6 is incredibly dry.

I also just don't really trust Plus 6. Pete plays a good role in sharing and distributing information, but he goes incredibly hard on his opinion on some players / teams and I feel like his results don't back it up.

I like Plus 6. They cover off a lot of stuff going back and forth with just two people rather than a round table conference of 4 or more which can sometimes get sidetracked. I enjoy their rapid round of 'Like/Dislike' at the end as even if you don't agree with their opinion they remind you of relevant players to consider trading in for that game week. The biggest downside of it this season so far is they've seemed to have gotten rid of their intro music which I reckon was a certified banger.

PODPOD the best for content imo.

Hat Chat is also good, although they're not half as funny as they think they are so the humour can grate at times.

Coaches Panel host must have the worst splintered ass in history as he sits on the fence and never makes a call on anything - it's all pretty generic commentary.

Traders are good as a contrarian indicator and their segments and show production is significantly better than most.

The Draft Doctors are good although you have to filter their opinions to fit classic mode.

Moreira’s Magic is right up there for me. Plus 6 and Coaches Panel are on the next rung down. Oh and this one would be up near the top as well, except…

God yes, THANK YOU.

Not even remotely funny; they try to be the Traders 2.0 and there’s just no need. Their more serious discussion/player selection is really good and I’ll listen to them for that alone.

Was thinking, if say you're 100% happy with your team come round 1 and you have spare cash, is it worth a 900k+ mid you see the least upside on and just getting Bont? Or would you just save the cash for trades in the coming weeks?

Find a way to use it, maybe not on Bont, but there will be a better option available somewhere to you.

Personally I’d leave the cash. I know people say cash is points and it’s somewhat true but if you’re happy with your side, you’ve clearly chosen particular players because you see something in them. For all we know, laird and Bont could average the same in the first 6-7 rounds but you’ve saved the 100k which will very clearly help your team in some other way in those early parts
