Since this year's philosophys aren't working with rookies off the ground first, I'll hold clohsey and Wilson (only rooks left) and do this.

Day fully fit now, first year as mid last year and averaged 95. Still young, has that natural progression etc. priced at 83

Option b is Clark, who helps more for byes, butttt means trading clohsey over Williams or bringing in a yuck rook.

Day looked very handy yesterday, the Hawks mids looked alive with him back IMO

Trying to continually improve up to the Byes. One up one down to Zaccy Fish this week. I might get convinced to go Sexton depending on how my byes look. I'll take a look at that closer throughout this week.

Yeah think it's Caldwell v Fisher for me. Fisher probably suits Bye structure a touch more, and is cheaper, but just not sure I can bring myself to do it!

Could Ed Richards end up being a T6 defender with Libba out indefinitely?

That mid-role is super nice and he is probably as cheap as he will be for a while.

Might skip Sexton and go straight to Ed.

This is my first year playing Fantasy and I am getting reamed - my midfield is struggling and I did the Marshall > Sweet move the other week 🤕

Can someone with a bit more know-how please tell me if these trades are alright?

I figure Clark and Campbell aren't going to get any more value - so I'll bring in Freijah for the $ and Fish for the points.

I still have McKercher, Will Graham, Clohsey, Windsor, Harley and D Wilson hanging about my team.

Good trades. For the rest of the season focus only only on trading rookies and middling guys doing nothing. Put away the premium sideways trades and tricky trades like Marshall out and you'll get there eventually.

Yeah nice, think I'm 20.8 now so clawing it back!
$20.9m here.

Dude who top scored this week had a $21.3m team value.
Overall top is also $21.3m total team value.

I think the really top teams the differences to me have been:
  • Gawn, big cash growth there.
  • Zorko, probably 150k more than when most people bought
  • Sharp, holding him after his 39, he's now up to 655k when most would have traded him at $570.

Howes into Sexton
Wilson into Rozee/Rowell

Leaves me with two rookies on the field.

Would like to keep Wilson over Clohesy but the players available are just too average to pick up.

Edit: I do like the Clohesy to Day move too. One to consider.

With a BE of 121 he would need to
If he went 140 he would only increase by $9k
Hopefully with the bye his foot settles.
I'm not afraid of him losing a bit of cash. I'm more worried about getting in players that could be top 6-8 in their line for the rest of the season. That's why I'm not looking at any midpricers that are firing right now, because I'll need to trade them on their bye or shortly after.

54k in the bank.

Not sure what my best move for the week is. The rookie dead weight is piling up with Garcia, Jones, Z.Reid and Simpson.

I want to target Powell to Rozee next week on the R12 bye.
Then probably target Sharp to Whitfield coming off the bye.

Could do Garcia to Freijah and Howes to Sexton (bye neutral move). H.Reid and Dempsey were on the chopping block last week, but I think I can probably hold them through to their byes now.

Unfortunately, after last week with 1.5 green dots on my bench (Woewodin just looks like being the perma-sub), I'm simply going to have to work on the bench leading into byes. Current plan:

If Garcia gets a game, I'll have to rethink and probably dump Hardeman, but that will leave me only 220K for a rookie.

Also hopeful that Z Reid gets a game, seeing that I haven't been able to move him off my bench since getting injured in round 1.

Libba has been given the all clear so that will hurt all the Ed Richards coaches.
