Crouch's shoulder and Reid's suspension have really cucked me here.

Seems smart to swap Crouch with a R12 bye player. Tossing up between Gulden, or Warner/LDU as a PoD.

I do have the cash to full send it to Zorko as well.

Currently sitting on:

Crouch > Gulden
Sharp > Green
Burgoyne > Fisher

Sharp might become Wilson but I need defenders and forwards more than I need midfielders and I should have the cash to bring the likes of Ryan and Zorko in over the next couple of weeks.

I like the trades, with a bit of banked cash I can go Windsor to a rookie and Clohesy and Bonner to Gulden and Fisher.

Leaves my midfield "complete" with Day and Oliver to go after or on their byes.

Two rookies on in the forward line still, one of whom is Wilson. Hoping for Zorko to drop a little cash over the next couple of weeks. Rozee also a target for a downgrade from Oliver / Day at some point.

I think my trades basically make themselves..

Burgoyne > Whitfield
Bonner > Gulden
Wilson > Fisher

Treble upgrade it feels like. $15k left in the bank but pretty comfortable doing that and need to make some points back after last week's horror show. Annoying to not be able to squeeze Heeney in against the Cats though.

This leaves me with three rookies on field post-Byes as things stand - Sharp, Reid and Freijah (due to how everything's shuffling around and ditching Wilson), which means the plan would be next week to probably go Clohesy down to a mid rook, and possibly Sharp and Reid up to Green and Heeney if the cash stretches, otherwise Green the following week and Freijah to ?? to complete FWD line. Not sure who..

Sounds like very similar thinking between us, I could do Sharp > Green instead of Wilson > Fisher but think Wilson's just about capped out, Sharp still seems ok for a bit more cash plus is handy out the other side of his Bye.

That's why I'm happy enough to move on Sharp. The timing is right, there are good upgrade targets available and the guys I need to finish my other lines aren't value. And even then, there is no definitive D6 or F6. Even F5 is looking sketchy. I'm not convinced about Fisher in the slightest.

I quoted the wrong post but Green has the capability of averaging 110, which should be 20-30 points better than Sharp. Wilson to a FWD could get me a better upgrade but to whom? I've held Lohmann as well so I can loop F6 for now.

Yeah fair shout. 36k Sharp > Green is insane value so I should probably just take that and not over-think it.

My forward line just looks incredibly bare if I ignore Fisher for now, means I'm running with: Flanders, Sexton, Powell and then rookies. Eek. Wilson's BE also up to 89 now so he'll start dropping cash. Tricky call.

I'm probably doing Wilson to Heeney next week (don't have the cash to do it this week) which just feels like I'm copping a bit of cash loss on Wilson to hold him for another week, with my Week 15 byes pretty heavy.

$20k short of my ideal final trade

Graham being named has screwed me. Had him traded out over Garcia (extra $116k banked) but reversed the trade as I only had 18 playing at the time. He ended up being my 19th scorer and not counting.

The idea was to move Oliver on this week and get a jump on the rest of the comp, but I'd only feel comfortable going to an uber like Dunkley ($20k short). Could pivot to a Warner, Neale, LDU type but Oliver could outscore them this week with his matchup.

Trading Graham gets me $694k:

1. Salem vs Pies?
2. McKercher if he's back?
3. Hind with a BE of 8?

OR

4. 200k rookie (Blight) and bank $494k for next week allowing Oliver > Dunkley and Hore > Rozee

This would complete my team with Fisher D6, Rozee M8, Powell F6

What would you do?

ZWilliams currently D7 in my side, so at this stage it's: -

Out: - ZWilliams, H.Reid, Windsor
In: - Blight, McMullin, Heeney

Leaves 350k ITB for upgrades next week

Is anyone else worried about Fisher’s role if McKercher is named?
North board all seem to have Colby in

Fisher has 4 tons in a row, despite Colby only missing the last 2. Am I dumb to still be skeptical?
As a North supporter, I would be stunned if he was outright named this week. The wording last week was "the club will give an update on his timeline after the bye". The timeline could easily be 2 weeks more rest, 2 weeks vfl, then come back. Hopefully we'll find out more tomorrow

With due respect to the North Board. How would they know anything about if he's cleared to play or not.

It didn't sound super positive on his call with the Traders. He wants to play but wasn't able to give any assurances.
