Only 3 x R13 Bye players :whitecheck:

Now, to continue build AND adjust my R14 playing list ......primarily as I've previously indicated ....too many GCS players

1. D. Jones to Dowling (or whoever)
2. Touk Miller to LDU (versus reidless WCE)
3. D.Wilson to Fisher

Still leaves me with Rowell, and Flanders

I'm giving Oliver until after his bye ....hopefully a refresh will be good for him
I've got both Rowell and Anderson, so I can cover one in R14 potentially, rather not trade either tbf

Flanders everyone has, and I also have Uwland who's still making cash and scoring surprisingly solidly, Dimma's really moulding him into a Vlaustin type

Really like this, finally gets me Heeney and puts me out of my misery and it’s getting rid of two late bye players and I get two true upgrades out of it. (one next week and one R15).

Holding Soligo as they have the Tigs this week. Even though the Tigs were competitive, Cats had six players ton up.

Still have Howes and can use him as a cash reserve for a downgrade.

Howes may come back and surprise - went massive at Casey on the weekend 30+ disposals
Angwin an option? GWS board seems to have him at half back with their injuries, and with crouch having to go I have a bit more room with cash. Will admit I do not know anything about him though.

If he can play through byes and provide ok scoring seems a decent play, considering lack of downgrade options.
Angwin can play, but expect the usual ups and downs - had him quite a while last season so did focus on him a bit in games. Might be a more wing/fwd, than a back

Only point scaring me off Gulden are the changes, this year versus last year ......no Heeney in the midfield, or Chad going beserk .....more points to be shared, and is Gulden the go to player, or Heeney now ?

With LDU ....yes it's a big risk, can't tell you how many times he's burnt me ....last year in the back half, he went on a sustained run of tons .....he's had a run of 3 now, which coincides with Sheezel going into the midfield

Has that Sheezel move helped LDU ?
Very brave going LDU

Really liking LDU for this week, he and Fisher are my 2 guaranteed trade ins.
My 3rd trade will be either a cheap defender that can help my bye structure or Sweet-> Grundy(as a POD, and has Conway this week for sugar hit)

You people have scarred me off LDU. What's the hesitation with him?
He didnt score very well at the start of the year, almost disinterested. Also on many peoples never again lists due to a couple of incidents in previous years, notably being a late-out like 2 minutes before a game early last year.

I think his form over the last month has been very good and hes looked interested again.
Has a very friendly run for the rest of the year too

I had both him and Simpkin at the back end of 2022 and they were dropping tons for fun

Yeah I had him in as a value pick over Gulden/Warner, but the noise is off putting.

If Howes comes back I can run 22 again for the second week in a row...Monday game doesn't help though.

His next month is West Coast, Pies whose midfield sucks right now due to injuries, Demons who look done, and the dogs who dont defend.

7 of their last 12 games are easy matchups, 4 neutral and 1 hard matchup(Sydney) for inside mids.

Fantasy finals are the main one though with Geelong the last round of the fantasy season, into Richmond, WCE, Dogs, and Hawks for fantasy finals.

BE of 80, priced at 97. Cant go wrong tbh

Yep, I've played a straight bat all year ....that hasn't helped

Guys who have taken risks ....McGovern, McKay, Yeo ect, have reaped the benefits .....and dare we talk injury prone 35 YO Zorko ?

If we talked Zorko at the start of the year .....you would have been laughed at for the suggestion, as I was in raising Heeney in the PS thread .....now Coaches are paying a $M to get a 35 YO

So nothing's off the table now

I'm sold. Could be a great POD for the byes. Can always upgrade later.

Which option is best

Option 1
Out: Clohessy, Crouch, Sharp
In: Hind, Merrett, Dunkley

Option 2
Out: Clohessy, Crouch, Wilson
In: Salem, Whitfield, Bont

Option 3
Out: Clohessy, Crouch, Z.Reid
In: Sheezel, Crisp, J.Blight (or any 200k) player
Gee every trade has you getting in at least 1 guy I wouldnt want to be trading into, Hind/Whitfield/Sheezel.
If I had to pick id go option 1

Is there an option 4 that doesn't have you trading into players yet to have their byes?

LDU vs Chad is my coin toss for this week.
I considered Warner. Had him previous years and didn't quite peak.
He seems to be able to get B.O.G with 22 disposals, 3-4 goals and a fantasy score of 95-112.
1-2 goals and it's 90-100.
LDU has a 20pt ceiling on Warner, but of course players aren't hitting ceiling scores every week and LDU has burnt a few with injuries.
