Looking like Steele, Lohmann and McAuliffe out. Possibly Rozee, Sheezel and a rookie in. Sheel/Rookie could be Simpkin/Sexton pending the performances / profit / Powells (Tom & Will).

So much for this plan. Neither Rozee or Sheezel are priorities this week.

I have 17 players before the bye so one of Steele or Baker likely goes this week. Baker feels slightly closer to the top of his line than Steele, which is not something I expected to say after five rounds this season. I expect both to be gone from my team before the season ends.

Lohmann has done a fantastic job for my team but he's now my lowest priced on field player. Powell needs to go. I would love to move these two on with Steele this week.

Sexton is my highest priority this week due to low BE and waxing up a storm with Flanders, despite having all of Fisher, Baker, Caldwell and Powell. Lohmann up to Sexton uses all of my spare cash so even if Steele goes down to Rozee, I can't get Powell up to a decent enough player. If Steele goes down to Sexton, I have $400k to put on Powell and Lohmann, which leaves me with a top end premo and a similar priced player or cash in the bank.

My other option this week is to start cycling my spare cash onto the field. All of my rookies except Moyle have a bye this week and are close to max price. Moyle has cash to make but Witts is due back. All up, I have about $1.2m in spare cash on my bench after replacing them with $200k players.

After several permutations already, I am currently sitting on Freijah + Sullivan + Steele > Hall + Sexton + Merrett. That leaves me with 19 players for the round, moves two of my rookies on, moves a dying premo on, and brings in a potential top 6 forward with a low BE and likely top 8 mid with a good run coming up. It means keeping both Lohmann and Powell but they become next week's premium.

Likely trade out pairings over the next few weeks are Powell/Lohmann, Burgoyne/Moyle, Baker/Garcia, Day/Dean, which gives me a guaranteed top 6 DEF or top 8 MID for each of the next four weeks (RUC / FWD lines will be complete).

So jealous these are the exact trade ins that I want but I can’t afford it.
Now have to keep Powell for another week after this Butters news. Ugh
Same. I'm 7k short of Salem if I trade Powell and Sharp. Still have Oliver but now feels like the former two are much higher priorities to move on

At a bit of a loss what to do

Current trades. Very sideways but sets me up nicely for this round. 20 playing / 18 premiums / Reville & Jhye Clark
(possibly 21 if Hardeman gets a recall with the K.Dawson suspension)

Saints have a tough two match ups after their bye (Port then Swans), happy to jump ship early. And Essendon have a good run.

Unfortunately, it means keeping Powell for one more week, but he easily becomes Rozee next week.

Looks like I'll also be exiting with byes with 1 rookie still on field, but I should be able to loop Dowling & Reville in that spot.

Anyone considering a Jake the Snake trade in, Oscar Allen back this week so his supply will be lessened

Don't be so sure. The general consensus is that among WCE fans is that Waterman will remain at FF and Allen will play CHF/push up the ground when needed, with Darling probably relegated to the WAFL.

That being said, with our match committee, anything is possible.

I hope so becuase his Fantasy stats as a FF has been consistent. Gets his opportunities to score points. Just the only risk being will that supply continue (I guess that’s the risk though)

Essendon is a decent matchup for him though, did well the first go round.

I wanna get him in but gotta find a way money wise

Turns out there is a way to get him in IMG_2554.jpeg

This is via swinging Heeney temporarily back to the mids, and then will hope there’s a rookie that pops up next week and will swing Heeney back forward for Connor Mac and get a mid in

But as always subject to change lol

Is Ryan worth the $98,000 more than Sheezel.

Leaning towards
Out: Freijah, Sharp, Steele
In: Rookie, Rozee, Ryan/Sheezel

Tempted to pocket the $133,000 for next week by picking Sheezel. Also I am wrong to consider Sheezel over Dunkley, Serong or Anderson. Feels weird wanting the defender over the mids.
Absolutely not

Sheezel has been D1/2 the whole time

Ryan is fine but not for more than Sheez

Allen has been bulking up a bit while hes off, sounds like he will play more of a FF type role with a bit more muscle. Snake has an elite tank so id guess he will be used as more of a link man up and down the ground, while being able to get back deep to take a mark.
Especially while Allen is building match fitness he probably plays more of a stay at home role, just my guess

So Snake will play a McKay type floater role by the looks of what you said there, so that will help his scoring as it has Big Harry's

Just wanted to get a gauge on how many non rookie scorers most people are on field this week?
I should have 19 'premiums' if you include people like Sexton, Caldwell, Green and Salem as 'premiums'. McMullin and Hardemann two potential rookies on field, but equally likely to be red dots. No Marshall cover.
