Who knows what's in the mind of Goodwin. Brown could be sub for all we know lol
Apparently has been said Goodwin has never chosen a rookie and made him the Sub

I've had this bloke squatting in my side all year .....Clay Hall

Any chance Barrybran ?
He's always a chance. I wonder if it is this year though. Yeo has had a good year, Reid and Ginbey have shown they striggle a little without Yeo around (expected given their age) and players like Hall are project players. We saw Culley in the middle against North and I half expect to see more of Liam Ryan, Jack Petrucelle and maybe even Campbell Chesser in the middle before I see Hall there.

Sharp had a massive TOG too for that 15. Huge ground coverage as well. I think it is fair to see it as an anomaly
Yeh, I know it's an outlier because he scored terribly against Bulldogs earlier in the year. And for this game, the ball was just never on his wing. He would run up and down that wing for no touches. A few times he got the ball and was tackled immediately.

Getting harder for him with Hewett getting closer too you'd think?

Hewett still a month away.
I always get 1 non player rd1 to loop.
With a hope they play soon.
This year it’s Hall.
Still sitting there.
Bad strategy with no price growth with him and ZReid still there 😒
Surely you use the 3rd ruck position for that?

Mid rookies make too much money, are super liquid so if you’re stuck with having 1, you’re constantly missing out on getting new ones in, and are often required to be an emergency, far more often than rucks, purely for the fact you only have 2 rucks

If his past is anything to go on, he would have hated that Flanders / Sexton double act. Too slow and predictable. Whereas, he would have loved Jefferies role back there (more Rioli like), and throw in Powell with Flanders, and the marking boys, that seems more his preference. Not sure what that means for Sexton, but as a holder of him I really hope I'm wrong.

Be interested how a Gold Coaster fan sees it.

Personally, i saw Jeffrey as a long term half back, so now he's in the team and going well. I'd rather see Sexton out, or as SUB.

Not good for owners but made enough cash, hopefully 1 more week so we can get that cash gen.

The Brown debut news has changed my trade plans as mentioned so I'm now able to still get Kozzy but have more money for a mid or def upgrade by dumping Amon (up to 850k max)

So can't reach the Zerretts, but looking through the options there's a few that pop out, especially with the tag back in vogue. Could it be a play to go outside the box and pick wingers? Someone like a Clug or a Blacres, players that have good work around the ground and can get +6s along with touches.

Take Acres for example, had a great season, bar 2 or 3 average games, he's been a consistent Fantasy scorer from the looks of things. Regularly gets 20+ touches games along with a heap of marks. 4 100's, 3 90's and 3 80's. Clug also has a similar output, but don't want my midfield to have three Lions players.

Just rambling but it's a thought as the strategy has changed short term.

I own Clugg in draft and he goes well, sometimes goes missing half way thru the game. Ashcroft back in round 16/17 maybe affects him.

Theres someone for 761k.

91, 102,96, 112, 59 (injured), 85, 90, 45 (injured).

Stephen Coniglio back this week, 24 touches, 3 marks, 4 tackles, 78% CBA, 90 average (minus injuries)

Had a look at Cogs but unsure if he’s back this week, we’ll find out tommorow
