Yeo is injury prone. Jordon is still making cash and Sydney are expecting their midfielders back soon which can affect Heeney's scoring. Plus, I wouldn't trade out Daicos.Last chance to get Heeney
Only way I can is …
Daicos to Yeo
Jordon to Heeney
Keep the faith in Bont
Merrett , Gulden , Trac , Marto, Gawn , Grundy , Cheezel, Rankine Short, Young main players now.
No dreams of the car now.
Going for league win
I prefer Butters over Crouch. Might need to wait on Mannagh to make sure he's not the sub.Which trade is better
Z.Reid and Newcombe
to
Pink and M.Crouch/NWM
or
Lazarro and Newcombe
to
Mannagh and Butters
“Laird to HF” back on the agenda
Nicks is the most stubborn coach I’ve ever seen, move him to HB
Can understand this is crazy, but you could bring in Zorko, move him forward and then bring Roberts on field (via Wilson DPP).*If I were to go Wines and Nuke out for Powell and a mid, I can only afford $902k as a mid.. not many options?
Issue with that though is they’re more likely to be the ones that turn it around and may not actually need tradingWhen I get into situations where I have massive amounts of players that need to go I always trade the highest priced players first. In your case Newc and Young of that lot.
Zach Reid > Schoenmaker (if named)View attachment 1939073
60k in bank
Is there a move you'd make other than
Lazarro to Mannagh
Newcombe to Butters
To me that seems like my optimal choice right now.
Newc has to go I think, although it would become a significant unique pick if I kept him.Zach Reid > Schoenmaker (if named)
Sexton > Powell
Means holding Newc (assume the whole point of the above is you want to turf him?)
Yeah I'm going back and forth on it as well. I'm starting to lean towards keeping him.Newc has to go I think, although it would become a significant unique pick if I kept him.

Would leave you circa 100k in the bank for next week allowing you to go Rankine + Sexton up to a premo mid of $1m and also bring in Harvey Thomas.
*Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for this when Zorko's calf pings 5 minutes into the Collingwood match.
Cats, Pies & Suns (MCG,Adel,GCoast) doesn’t fill me with confidence.Yeah I'm going back and forth on it as well. I'm starting to lean towards keeping him.

I have him and can thoroughly recommendYeah think I'm going to go NWM instead. Love watching him play.

Good philosophy...Pro tip: make good trades and get good players
Can you get Opt 2 to Harvey Gallagher and Butters?Which trade is better
Z.Reid and Newcombe
to
Pink and M.Crouch/NWM
or
Lazarro and Newcombe
to
Mannagh and Butters
It's excellently thought through. Getting to Serong as a fix up was smart, Fisher was even smarter. Schoenmaker is a wild card. Massive stats at Sandy on the weekend. Straight in if he plays.Good philosophy...
Every year, I go into this game with some rules, and every year I break them, usually chasing points.
This year, my aim is to only trade in either keepers, or players that are going to make money. I'm also not trading out someone I classify as a keeper unless they have three bombs in a row. Bont, Naicos and Grundy fit this category. Bont is improving, and at the end of the day, he's going to average 100+. Naicos will have a few blips, but will also be 100+. Grundy may not make the 100 average, but still looks like returning much better than his starting price.
Last round, I traded in Serong as a keeper and Dempsey to make coin. I dumped Newk and Fisher. Newk was a good dump, Fisher only made 9K for the round vs 49K for Dempsey, so happy with the trades, especially as Serong was my VC for 250 points.
This round, I'm looking at Young to D'Ambrosio. Young is not scoring like a keeper, and is not making coin. Mass is averaging 10 points more and has a low BE. My other current trade is Sexton to Powell. Sexton isn't a disaster as he's made some coin, and will probably make his BE next game, but I started him thinking 80ish average and hold till his main bye, making some coin along the way. He's nowhere near that score, and has a bye this week, so gets the boot. I'm bringing in Powell... he is scoring where I wanted Sexton to be, and has a low BE, so should add value.
Other things I'm watching are Schoenmaker possibly getting a run, which could be a straight swap for Z Reid who I chose to keep, but there would need to be some other surprise when teams are named for me to go that way before the above trades.
Tricky round this time with games from Thursday to Monday. Thankfully it is another best 18 round, and I only have Massimo and Dempsey on field plus Mannagh on the bench with the Monday game.
Anyway, this time next week, my whole story could change and my carefully thought out trades could have gone to sh!t after Bevo an Horse screw things around....
Early adopter last year too - enjoyable fantasy player and well as a superb kick.He was so fun last year haha.
