Basically has been a semi easy decision trade wise

Ginbey to Thomas (and field Roberts, should have done that from the beginning but cest la vie) which leaves $297k for the second trade.

Which makes my second trade very interesting.

Do I go straight up to Libba to Green(Which leaves $110k for next week)

Or save a bit more and go for a Jelly, Anderson, Touk, Steele, Rowell type and it guarantees a Jordon to Flanders upgrade next week……

Jelly: leaves $247k
Anderson: leaves $234k
Touk: $264k
Rowell: leaves $270k

It’s a really hard call to make, Green is a must have but you need the cash to up your mid pricers, my bench rookies can wait until their byes to be downgraded too.
With the draw that they have i’ll be lookin at a suns mid. have touk personally and looking to double up if grundy has another good game.

I'd feel pretty uncomfortable playing those 3 fwd rooks plus Howes on the field this week

Yeah they’re probably the most friendliest price wise.

Tough to split Rowell, Anderson and Touk, all have their pros and cons.

Rowell: cheapest of the lot, tackling beast, doesn’t accumulate but the tackles make up for that.

Anderson, Touk; more of an accumulator and both have started well. (Touk has had 29 and 30 touches, and Noah 35 and 25)

Fantasy is better for accumulatiors, so Anderson or Touk would be better picks. If this was SuperCoach, Rowell would be a slam dunk pick

Boring trades this week but I think they're obvious trades. Only deviation from this would be if I have an urge to trade Reid Or Howes over Hore. But I want to bail on Melbourne players and this gets me Sharp on field until DPP's come in. Plus removes any week points on field which is aim for best 22

I think the team is looking decent but could be a lot better. My main fear every week is the top dog mids blitzing when I don't have them.

Very similar to mine, only on field differences are Houston (instead of Daicos) in def, Serong and Bonner (instead of Crouch and Sharp) in the mids, and Dempsey instead of Flanders fwd

Yeah ive got Clark instead of Daicos, Bont instead of Butters, and Sexton instead of Heeney :sick:

Oh and Gawn instead of Grundy.

Semi even untill the Sexton part lmao. What rank are you?

I'd probably rather your team. Dempsey is a big miss. I guess my lot are slightly safer when you factor in Bonner where anything could happen and Dempsey is coached by Scott. Yours have more upside

All you sneaky non Daicos owners hey. Gawn is killing me as a non owner.

I'm 8.9k

I don't actually have Dempsey yet, he's my planned trade this week to sit at F6. Have 290k spare but there's literally not one fwd i can get to with that that interests me

is it too late to jump on dempsey ?
My gut feel is yes it's too late.

Rookies only get so far before they're 1 game away from being culled.

Dempsey will get into the 500's from his latest tonne, but beyond that it'll only take a single 50 score to flatten his price.

Look at Jordon. $560k averaging 70s. scores a 60 and he's now flatlined.

Is $100-$150k enough from Dempsey considering you need to spend 2x trades on him within 3-4 weeks? I'm thinking no.

At this stage I'm going one of Gallagher or Thomas instead. (Probably Gallagher).

Have gone with Anderson, after his slow start last year he didn’t drop too many lowish scores plus he’s the most pure mid of the Suns guys. Plus swapped one POD for another POD.

If Rowell doesn’t get a heap of tackles per game his score stagnates around the 80 mark and Touk does float a bit mid/fwd at times and he’s the one moved there when Flanders gets his turns in the middle.

All depends on what else you'd be doing with that trade I guess. Thomas and Gallagher are great for cash gen but if they're ending up onfield this week I'm not as keen. Both have only scored well against WC, Thomas's 2 other scores are 35 and 18.

If Dempsey scores 60 each week for the next 3 weeks he goes up 100k over that time and gives you a semi reliable on field scorer

Might end up on a double down

Zwill > Thomas
H. Reid > Gallagher

340k in the bank.

Lets me field all four midfield rookies, and then one of Cadman/Thomas/Cadman up forward as my only other rookie.

Forward line seems my biggest priority to fix up after that with Rankine, Jordon, Sexton all on the chopping block.

Are we unloading Reid or Wilson first?
Wilson has a nice match up this week…
Reid higher break even…
I’ve gone Reid but not sure how to feel about it
