AFL truly are out of touch thinking they can manufacture a false rivalry with us and GC when barely anybody gives a sh1t and were glad Hardwick left. They've screwed us though cos it'll be hot playing GC then we have a 5 day turnaround to back up against the blues so could be 0-2. This early season bye is a f@cken joke too. remember when we had a heat chamber at punt rd to prepare us for the cairns game
Yeah for sure. The ex coaches sooking definitely rubbed off on the players by the end. The hard edge definitely disappeared.
he'd give away too many frees snapping campaigners left and right, bicketty bow, wham, snickety snap. the whole oppo side is dead.
Gold Coast only turn up for the first 6 weeks, we have been royally done over.

Didn’t the AFL try this crap before? I feel like remember playing Gold Coast up there in Rd 1 one year, only for everyone to complain about how stupid the first round was and we returned to normalcy the next season playing Carlton as the first game.
MCG was unavailable in 2014 for round 1 so we played Gold Coast and then Carlton round 2

this will be the most fizzy start to an afl season that I can remember
Get big Lynchy ready only for RD1. Kick a bag and a wave to Dimma in the box after an unexpected big win to shock the comp to kick-start our season then wrap up Lynchy in cotton wool for RD2.
Dimma doesn't react well to oppo fans having a dig at him.

Honestly don't care where we play or who we play, as the fixture will always be compromised. If we are good enough we will beat anyone anywhere, if we cant do that. Then its a waist of time playing finals. That's what was so great about our premiership years we didn't worry about the opposition as long as the boys stuck to the game plan, we could beat anyone when we kept the pressure up for the majority of our games.
