Bergman a defender, same with esava

Did seem like less kicking to 2nd square when kicking into i50 in match sim

Both Watkins and Lai showed something whilst also showing why they're not on any afl list

Whitlock doesn't look like a westhoff 07 take, got a bit of meat on him

I think Lukosius will be the #1 option with Mitch sticking at the #2

What are Jacksons and Walsh's injuries? Both were being slammed with running

Soldo and Visentini have had like 3-4 month injury recoveries from their knee operations, but are nearly there. Farrell ditto for his Hammy.

Bergman is similar. Will be in time and space and just randomly kick to an opposition player in 30m of space. Both are generally good enough by foot if they can sort out the brain farts.

I haven't seen any word on Jackson or Walsh in terms of injuries. Maybe both tested poorly on return to the club last week?

I say that re Houston role as often he was the one to try and kick over the zone
Either for goal or a deep one on one
Rather than try and execute a short inside 15m kick
(What one of the drills was essentially for and the turnover rate was high)

The whole body composition looks completely different, still thick legs, but waistline and torso doesn’t look bulky in pictures. He is elite by foot, if him and Farrell are delivering the pill inside 50, we will quickly forget about how bad the Houston trade was on our behalf.

Surprised Richards is as small as he is, knew he was slight, but the Black and White stripes definitely made him appear taller.

Part of the problem with the gameplan was the need for a "Houston role". We shouldn't be relying on getting the ball every time into the hands of one elite kick to make game breaking passes.

Be like Brisbane where any of the defenders can rebound off and hit up simple kicks to players running through the midfield to deliver into an open forward line.

There is a difference between kicking ability and vision.

One is being able to execute. One is knowing what to execute.

The elites like Houston have vision, then back it up with execution. There is a cap on how far most players can get for this reason.
