Suggest GC are out of the finals race if lose today to their nemesis Port
Agree it’s going to be tough if they lose to Port, but I rate Hardwick and think he will fix their form when playing away. Gold Coast play Richmond and West Coast away and should win both of these. This season is so even, that other than the Swans and the current bottom 5, you can put a case for any of the current teams 2-13 making the finals, or alternatively missing out

If Essendon somehow Bradbury into the finals whoever they play are pretty much getting a bye in that game

We've won 9, meaning you have us only winning 3 of of our last 7 against WCE (A), SYD (H), GC (A), STK (A), GWS (H), COLL (A), ESS (H); only 2 of those against top 8 teams (arguably, and realistically, only one; that being Sydney); with a big percentage drop. Which 4 do you have us losing to?

Cats have the easiest run home of the top 8 if they don’t finish top 2 now they wasted their fixture

Yep, Geelong should finish second.
But ladder wise lot of weird things have happened this season so not sure.

Brisbane are the current form team in the comp.

We've been scraping through lately. 5 points against Melbourne, 11 points against Adelaide etc.

Pretty flaky to be honest, hence our supporters being nervous about today's new coach bounce game.

Not so sure.

We will lose to Fremantle in WA.

St Kilda at Marvel is a banana peel (look at our game there last year, they just beat Sydney there, almost did it to Port etc).

Bulldogs don't have their GMHBA hoodoo anymore and just beat the team in 2nd; Cats have already lost a couple at home this year.

The rest we should win.

Top 2 requires at least a 5/6, or even a 6/6 run.

Then if we do finish top 2, it would very likely only mean we "host" Carlton at the G rather than they host us there. So it wouldn't even mean anything.

Big day for Port

Win and probably 4th (unless they SMASH GC and make up 10+ percent)

Lose and other results go against they could be 9th.

Something has to break today:

1. GC will lose a home game

or

2. GC will finally beat Port

or draw lol

That is just wild to even try and comprehend

I feel Cats play Lions in Geelong considering the fixture of both teams

Blues have really pissed a way a relatively straight forward top 2 finish the last two weeks. Probably a good lesson for them before heading into the easiest part of their fixture but they'll have to win all their games to guarantee a top 2 now.
Not that I want us to, but I think we can afford to drop one more given that Freo and Geelong play each other.

This was actually a generous ladder from BigVic. Their last one I think had us finishing 12 or 13th.

You're probably right, but we've seen a few upsets today so I wouldn't be 100% confident of it. Brisbane still have to do the longest trip in footy for this one and that's always going to take a toll no matter the quality of the team. Don't forget, Brisbane did lose to Freo in Perth earlier this year.

Having said all that, Brisbane should still get the W tomorrow.
If west coast are to have a unlikely win it might be against Gold Coast.
Your mob need to win a game away eventually and if you look like not making the finals may drop their bundle again and gift us a win.

West Coast are certainly pushing their case against Brisbane right now.

We'll beat suns. We don't lose to them ever. Except their first ever win 13 years ago
This has backfire written all over it.
