Have no doubt Pav would have kicked 1000 goals if he stayed forward his whole career. Then he'd be up there in conversation with Buddy as a modern day great. As good as he was, Pav is still grossly underrated IMO.

That's improbable? North won't play 3 games in WA and we won't play them away twice so it's likely that we only play North once a year the next 3 years unless we play them at Gather Round.
could not disagree more.
Pav was amazing, but he was never close to the best player in the game.
Fyfe was easily in the conversation as the best in the game until injuries tore him apart.
So you’re saying no members seating games against North ?
And….. play them only once next season when they’re shit ?
Yup. We'll have our standard 11 home games with members seating, an away derby, and an away game against NM.
Can't see them playing 3 games in WA (one as a Freo home game) but hope I'm wrong.
Why am I not shocked ?
It’s the perfect opportunity for Dillon to address an issue he has already conceded is enormously unfair; Travel.
An extra home game that he stated recently as problematic with the other teams. Here is the perfect way to reduce the travel burden by one eastern states trip.
The away game will be in WA so no travelWhy am I not shocked ?

I guess we'll have to play Richmond twice for the next few years. Shame.I think this is effectively what is happening, we’ll get North’s home game here which otherwise would have been in Melbourne (actually probably in Tassie so helps even more with relieving travel).
So it will add an extra game in Perth, lightening our travel load.
The issue some are suggesting is that this will be our only game against North, the AFL won’t then schedule a home game against them back in WA again so we’ll miss the chance of a double dip against a likely bottom team we otherwise could possibly have had.

It's one part of the travel equation, which looks like being paid for by NorthWhy am I not shocked ?

Exactly what I was thinking, Richmond will be worse than north for the next 3 years, so fine with our bottom 6 match ups to be WC and Tigers, north “Away” in WA is also good. They love our double ups being against other non vic teams (less vic teams being sent to WA) so will likely get Sydney and Port again.I guess we'll have to play Richmond twice for the next few years. Shame.
No chance the Tasmanians will accept that.I suspect Tasmania plays almost every Victorian team in Victoria, and every non Victorian team in Tasmania. Plus North and Hawthorn.
Has this been revealed?
Do you think the AFL will really care after the novelty of wears off ?No chance the Tasmanians will accept that.
One of the main selling points of the team to locals was to host glamour games on Friday and Sat nights against powerhouse Vic clubs.
The number of key positions players identified as a miss in the top 10 is very consistent across the teams.Your club's biggest draft hit and miss since 2014

I thought the Sydney one was interesting. Particularly for those folks who like to say that the draft is a lottery. Pick 5 miss, pick 26 miss, pick 36 miss, pick 39 jackpot.

That's why I find it so funny when people complain that guys like Warner were stolen from right under our nose when Sydney themselves chose to take three players before even considering himYour club's biggest draft hit and miss since 2014
