Interesting that Garlic didn't choose to apply for the Freo job but was then contacted by Gilion McLachlan who suggested he (Garlic) should apply? Not sure why Gil would buy into that considering he was the CEO of the AFL at the time?

An intriguing revelation. Would be great to have a bit more detail on why Gil was getting involved in our search for a CEO.

I suppose the AFL CEO has a strong interest in helping ensure clubs are well run, which means the right people in the key positions.

Also possible someone at the club called him and asked him to assist.

Good to see the fair distribution of air time for each club in the new AFL ad. Hawks get a minute of highlights while Freo get .01 seconds...Nice. It's not like we didn't have any highlights for the year.

Aye, I discovered that a little bit later on.....too late to rescind one's post! I thought it was a bit weird as the "other' Will was 29 I think and had barely made a splash!! Let's hope this Will fairs a bit better...

It's the same old, same old. I just wanna see them win the Flag; that might shut them up or 'force' their hand to actually cover the Dockers. Hardly unexpected after all this time, but still piss poor
