Draft order New
Same as usual.

Trades have to clear the usual rules. Double ups allowed if not enough people sign up. I'll take Fremantle

Rules:

1. Trades must be within the 200 point threshold between picks or include future picks
2. Clock is on between 8 am and 10 pm. Need to take your pick within 8 hours of that time frame (so if someone picks at 8:30 PM, the next person has until 2:30 the next day). Otherwise they get the next unlinked (NGA etc) player on eDPS rankings.

Pick 16 New
Yikes I was expecting Allan to be gone by now which is why I traded down Eagles pick whoops 🤦‍♂️

But that blunder allows Port Adelaide to swoop in

Pick 16 - Port Adelaide - Bo Allan
191cm/ Midfielder-Half back

Bo Allan is the prototype of the ideal modern player he is tall/athletic/competitive. He is ready to play AFL next year and although he does still need some development in terms of composure and top end midfield craft Allan has all the tools in his arsenal to potentially be the best player from this draft when all is said and done

The rationale was why have one Errol when you can have two Errols.
Yeah, but if there was a prototype player that you'd fall in love with in this draft it would be Travaglia

Pick 20 New
Pick 20 Harrison Oliver
Harrison is fast, competitive and a beautiful left foot kick.
He will start off as a small defender who can nullify and provide attack from the back half but I think he has the capability of moving to the wing in the future.
Faull and Shanahan options here but really not what the bullies need here.
Oliver may not be a sexy pick but I think injuries aside he is a 150 game player.
The sort of players the bombers could use.
The other option was to bid on Marshall but I think Oliver is a bit ahead of him and didn’t want to risk a non matching bid.

I think Travaglia has a higher ceiling but Lindsay has a very high floor.

I'm very happy you think that tbh. I'd have taken Travaglia at 6 for Freo let alone 17.

I think he probably goes as far as his body takes him, if he fills out and still maintains his athletic profile you could get a quicker Will Day, which would be an absolute weapon, if he doesn't you still get a nice player but probably a more dime a dozen back flanker.
