Pick 30 New
Pick 30 Tom Gross
Another competitor.
Hard working all Australian who wins the footy, kicks goals and applies defensive pressure.
Showed the ability to play half forward and also had some very good midfield minutes in the nationals mainly on the wing.
Well deserved all Australian this year and like Oliver will enjoy the physicality of afl footy.

King Patty if you are going to match, GC are willing to offer 68 and 70 for the Giants F3 which will cover the rest of your points needed

Pick 36 New
Pick 36 hawks bid on Tyler welsh King Patty
What do you say
bit earlier than I anticipated but bid matched.

Adelaide had 2 plans when coming in to this draft with pick 4 and 64, it was to get Sid Draper and Tyler Welsh
Job done.

From Draft Central:
Welsh junior boasts a super set of hands and deceptive speed off the mark, presenting as an ominous marking target in attack whether one-on-one or on the lead. He played 10 games in Adelaide's reserves this year as part of the SANFL Rookie Program, and booted eight goals in his lone Under 18s appearance for Woodville-West Torrens.

You want the extra points so you don't go into deficit?

Trade 7 New
will 68+70 cover points? surely there are better offers than that. we will take points deficit into next draft unless Gold coast add a future fourth to the deal.
Sure, we have two anyway

Hawks ydc55 up next.

Crows are done with the draft and have left the room.
Justin Reid will be on with AFL Draft live with Cal Twomey after the break.
Reid: We are really happy Cal, we came into the draft with a plan get Draper and Welsh, we executed it. Did a little deal with the Suns which helps keep the AFL in our favour and helps match the points.
We think that Draper and Welsh will really help us going into next year.

I was hoping to grab Hayes in the 50s for Carlton. Love the early pick, hasn't been drafted in the draft boards Phantom from what I can see and they're up to the 60s.
Hope we look at him irl, has tricks.
I took him in that phantom lol

I took him in that phantom lol

This one? Maybe I missed his name.

Edit: I see the draft you're talking about, the pinned one, my bad. The other draft, he slipping!

Pick 37 New
Hawthorn Pick 37 Kayle Gerreyn West Perth Forward/ Second Ruck

Kayle is agile for a big bloke.
Can take a contested mark as well as find space and get the ball on a lead.
Kayle has kicked goals at colts level and kicked about 5 at nationals.
Kayle shows flashes of star quality but is very inconsistent within a game.
Very impressed with his testing.
Could make a great partnership with cal dear in time.
