With camps starting to open over the weekend its time for a preseason thread. but keep all non Camp/preseason stuff in the offseason thread and all BS clickbait in the offseason threads.

we can just keep all the dumb shit players say on podcasts in the offseason thread with everything TMZ and Taylor Swift related.

There is news and then there is clickbait/view farming.

There will be enough hyperbole in this thread with [insert player name] is having a MVP level camp and going to smash records. or team picked a QB in top 5 might never lose again with how they are looking.

Is there any other gamepass style options this year or is it still only that DAZN bs?
Still just DAZN. They signed a 10 year exclusive deal last year. There is an opt out for the NFL but not for a few years. dont remember what year, but i think year 4.

Does the preseason have anything to do with going from 95% touch backs a game to 7 kick returns? Because on first glance it seems counter intuitive
Touchback is now to the 30 so the aim it to land the ball inside the 10 for force a return

Bears might finally have a QB for the first time in franchise history. Dirty Bird your Brett Rypien making plays.
It's amazing what happens when you put your head down and work hard.

TBH - It's a shit place to be. The Bears are throwing all the chips into 1 basket, and this c*** will piss it up a wall. Do we get JaMarcus Russell or do we get Johnny Manziel? I dont know, but he screams that type of headache you dont want in a locker room (which I would've told you long before the draft) and not someone who can succeed in this league.

If the Bears had half a brain they'd be trading for Andy Dalton or Joe Flacco. And if they can't get them, go Carson Wentz or Marcus Mariota. Dalton and Flacco are probably the only 2 QBs who are of that backup calibre and might actually help Williams grow and mature. Wentz? Mariota? Maybe, but I'm not as sold on their leadership.

So weird without bill on the patriots sideline, gonna take some time for New England to find their own identity…
