I don't know what the broadcast otherwise would've looked like, but they may not have a choice, and it may be a blanket rule now.

I've been saying in the college football thread that the way gambling is being linked to actual game analysis is a clear breach of Australian gambling advertising laws, and they were begging for some sort of regulation.

For people saying it's unwatchable? They haven't been watching ESPN's college football analysis over the last fortnight.

NBC has no betting stuff on its scorebug. I think they might on the ticker at halftime, but ESPN always cover it up with their own ticker the last few years
