A number of teams aren't playing their top tier players for any snaps, let alone half a game. Especially the offense guys.

I get the feeling many coaches would be happy if there was 0 preseason games.

I think most coaches would prefer scrimmages against a different team each week of the preseason and no actual games.

The scrimmages are more planned and complex than the actual preseason games.

Not just that, but in the games they are playing far more base coverage to have less on tape about the scheme adjustments to start the season. Even offense has been simple for most teams.

joined practices are where teams open up more and are doing most of the reps for 1s.

Preseason games are just auditions for about 30 guys to make some other teams practice squad.

Bengals DL depth is an issue. the backups just get pushed back too easy.

Chiefs know how to find the no name running backs, Steele has had a very good preseason, Cheifs fans talking like hes the clear backup to Pacheco. About time there was a white running back with flowing locks in the NFL.

What a great drive by the Panfers first team vs the Bills 3rd team this morning, NFC South champs here we come. Didnt realise Jordan Matthews was still in the league let alone was on my own team, the fact he was out there and caught the TD thrown by Bryce probably indicates hes going to make the team also.

First one was unlucky. Good int by the defender.

2nd was pretty bad

He threw 3 in the last 5 minutes. 3rd horrible, 4th was a jump ball that the defender stole and 5th not great but legit was the last throw of the game in the end zone going for tie

Yeah much ado about nothing. Imo Lance had a good game. Got a lot of snaps last game and this one and has shown ability that made him a first rounder.

He threw some good passes in what I saw.

But any game where you lose by 7 and your qb throws 5 picks can't be considered good

When he got drafted it was all about how he needed reps and game time given he barely played in college, missed a year too. And then his Niners career curtailed by injuries early in season and falling down depth chart. So he still needs that time/reps/games to develop like he always did. I thought last two preseason games was just what he needed, and a game like this where hes allowed to be unshackled and just throw the ball around
