May as well not hire a HC until 2026.
They need an experienced coach to get joint in order, Rex Ryan is the only experienced coach they could attract I reckon. Not sure Aaron would allow it though given Rex has been a bit critical of him and the organisation so it will probably be some first timer who will be one and done.

Hahahahha
This was from 3 weeks ago, would be worse now.
Absolutely zero chance.

From ESPN..why would the Jets bring him back?

Rodgers is under contract for 2025, but none of his compensation is guaranteed at this point. To bring him back, the Jets would have to exercise a $35 million option bonus. He also has a $2.5 million base salary. His cap charge would be a manageable $23.5 million.

if they cut him they have like $60m in dead cap, but can split that between 25 and 26 if they use post June 1. but still need to have the cap space for him on the team March 1. Im not sure what their cap looks like.

JJ McCarthy underwent a procedure on his right knee this week after an increase in his rehab caused some swelling, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
this story is the biggest beat up of all time - he had an injection into his knee. It was confirmed as a biologic injection - biologics block specific parts of the immune system, such as proteins that promote inflammation

So....he did have swelling in his knee and got an injection (had a procedure) to reduce swelling. I love you Sven, but how is that then the biggest beat up of all time?

On the topic of vikings qb, darnold has positioned himself well to earn a hefty contract next off season. Obviously the system in Minnesota has helped him elevate his game, that won't stop the offers that will come his way. He signed a 1 year $10 mil contract, wouldn't be surprised if some team offers him $20 mill a season.

Can't see tom brady allowing that to happen.
The raiders of the old would have done it, think brady will be a bit more ruthless when it comes to qb selection.
You have a good point, but i also think that means Brady would realize they need a vet to carry a rookie for a year, someone for whom the game has slowed down and he can execute a full playbook. Like Brady himself knew being a vet for so long, even toward the end of his career he knew he could execute and didnt have to do too much (Bucs SB season)
