I think the bengals should go hard after bill belichick. He can look after the defense, just pair him with a creative play caller to maximise burrows talent.

Bill is cooked, and like he would allow someone else to work side by side

I think bill did say he was more than open to relinquishing player personal duties. After brady became elite,he never really ventured into the offense side of the game. He left it to the OC and brady to deal with the weekly game plan, he just chimed in during situational plays.

Bill would have the similar setup at cinci with a top 5 qb on offense.

Mike Brown isnt getting out the money for that.

I still don't believe he would relinquish some responsibility though. Don't think their coaching is that bad, their defence is putrid.

Think bengals will have to bring in a new coaching office and a new front office. Looks like burrow and the team has tuned out zac taylor.
You're forgetting that Mike Brown is too cheap to do anything like that. It wasn't that long ago that the Bengals didn't even have a scouting department...

Baalke is like a cockroach. Surviving another regime change after all the shit decisions he makes would be a miracle
So many teams rather replace a coach the GM even if the GM is the one missing on picks. More teams need to make moves at both at the same time.

You have to wonder what in the blue moon have they done to fix this in the off season and the trade windows

To fix it you need to know you have a problem. Shanahans stubbornness is the issue.

Haha wow. What ****ing incompetence from the defense, not once but twice basically in succession on those Geno runs.

Been a shitty team in divisional matchups all year. Kyle, ST and now the defense gifting games away. Don't deserve to be in the playoffs, regardless of injury luck.

Bosa going down didn’t help. He wouldve had a fair bit to say about that last drive

I think burrow requesting a trade will shock mike brown into making decisions.
Mike Brown's response:
LOL you dumb campaigner, you signed to stay here for another 5 years i own you.

Also remember Carlson Palmer stuff? yeah he retired for a year because he refused to play and thats the only way he could force a trade.

Yea cards fan here, definitively aware of the Carson palmer stuff. The cincinati bengals organization is valuable now, how is it that no one has approached mike brown and offered way above market value to get the organization from him.

Because Mike is one of the owners happy to make money and not spend it on making the team better. not like he is losing money, and doesnt care so why sell.

I doubt Mike would sell.

Obviously there is the family legacy angle. But also, like a few other majority owners (like the Bidwells with Arizona, Georgia Hallas with Chicago etc), all their net work comes from owning an NFL team so there is nothing else for them to go do instead of owning the team and the power that comes from owning the team probably matters more than the money at a certain point
