I know this isn't a gambling thread, but Houston are only around a one TD favourite. I know they haven't lit the world on fire recently but that seems like a low number and Dallas have conceded cricket scores at home.

Until tomorrow when Stroud fumbles three times or gets injured in the first quarter......

Dallas are already the only team ever to trail by 20+ points in five consecutive home games. I expect that streak to reach six.

This Detroit team is ruthless, absolutely slaughtering mediocre teams. Kinda proud the cardinals only lost to them by 7 points.

Can’t see anyone outside of their division troubling them in the conference, and even then you’d expect GB or Minnesota will have to win three away games to get to the SB. Lions should be at home for any playoff games, and then you’re just hoping to avoid a bad Goff game.

I could pick 3-4 teams to come out of the AFC, but it would be very surprising at this stage if anyone but Detroit came out of the NFC.

I just hope Detroit don't run out of steam come playoff time. If there is one organisation whose fan base deserve a championship, its the lions .

The only team I can see remotely troubling the lions is philli. They have the run game to control the clock against detroit. They have the secondary to matchup against the lions wide receivers which would give them the opportunity to load the box upfront to slow down the lions run game.

On a side note, the teams in play offs hunt who want to upgrade their kicker will be keeping a close eye on the cardinals kicker situation.

Matt prater who has had a very good career had missed the last 6 games ( 4 of them on IR) could be available as a free agent soon if the cardinals choose to go with his younger replacement. They have to make a decision on his return this week as he can be activated for the seahawks game.

His replacement ryland who is considerably younger, has nailed all his xp's and has made 11/12 field goals (including 3 game winners, which judging by the recent failure rate is extremely valuable).

I can't see cardinals carrying 2 kickers on the roster, whoever we cut will be picked up straight away.

Prater has the history, but ryland has the hot hand.

I can see Philly absolutely routing Detroit

NFCCG...would be surprising if it's not Eagles vs Lions, but Cardinals could be a possible

AFCCG...Chiefs, Bills, Steelers, Ravens, Texans all have a decent shot

Teams like Chargers, Broncos, Commanders, Falcons, Rams Seahawks, Colts....making up the numbers but could provide an upset or two and be poised for contender role in 2025 with a strong off-season
