I don't listen to Rich Eisen that much but I feel sorry for him. He'd right, what's the point of firing a GM that has actually done a good job, rookies of the year on both sides of the ball in that line up for starters.

Realistically he had one good draft (albeit a very good one) wiffed on a QB and didn't fix our O-line in 6 years. Now you can (rightly) argue he was hamstrung in some decisions especially over the last 18 months but he was never getting another contract.

Sacking him now doesn't make sense but I doubt he would really care, he's in a no win situation and gets paid to stay home for the holidays, probably relieved if anything. He won't struggle to get another job in the league either.
