He was always a project. Super raw coming out and still a shock he was a 1st round pick.

It's the same with a lot of non-1st overall pick QBs. Poor coaching, the team is incredibly bad and they are expected to take over the offence straight away. Not saying they'd be better with better coaching etc either but still...

Not many QBs enter the league ready to start. But teams are too dumb and desperate to let them sit and learn. Putting them out week 1 rookie season or even mid year kills more QB then anything
