an issue with the 3am games is that London games dont start till October so we dont get any that start at 11pm.

but 3AM games just suck, f**k with your body clock. 5AM is no problems

What about 2am in Perth once daylight savings kicks in over there!?
:(

The routine only Aussies know too well - the first block of 3am NFL games, and then a block of 4am games, before finally a block of 5am games!
I kinda prefer 3 and 4 am games, can watch the entirety of redzone, all the games ending, before leaving for work. 5 am is better for the sleep deprivation but left on a cliffhanger

Much prefer 5am personally, watch 2nd halves of games and leave for work around 8.30 if not WFH

2.30am has been such a battle for me, there were a few years there when we would have late afternoon or night games the first month of the season so I could wake up at 3.30 and just miss an hour of the games. Looking forward to next week, lol.

Jonathan Vilma calling Saints/Falcons to be as equally impartial.

Who ****ing picks these calling teams at Fox?
I hated Vilma when he played but reckon hes actually pretty good in the booth. Doesnt come off as biased to me when hes had Panthers vs Saints games in the past.

As in that divisional games is a tie breaker at all?

Or that you'd rank them on it before they've all played?
Thats my reading - 0-0 is a 'nil' result vs 0-1 as .000.

Surely based on numbers of fans because it's probably the worst of the late arvo games. Although Cleveland/LV shapes as a stinker
CBS double weekend
CBS Early
Blue = Vikings @ Packers
Red = Denver @ Jets
Green = Jags @ Houston
Yellow = Steelers @ Colts

04-CBS-E.png

CBS Late
Red = KC @ Chargers
Blue = Browns @ Raiders [interesting that the bay area/Oakland is no longer Raiders footprint]
04-CBS-L.png

Fox
Red = Eagles @ Bucs
Green = Saints @ Falcons
Yellow = Rams @ Bears
light blue = Bengals @ Panthers
Orange = Washington @ Arizona
Blue = Pats @ 9ers

If you only get the late game on Fox you dont get any 1PM games on Fox that week.

Ive never seen anything like this before

Amazing

Its how the TV maps for the NFL have worked.

There is also some TV markets that have a strange thing where it will be a CBS or Fox double weekend and your team is playing in the early window on Fox then there will be no game on CBS in the 1PM window. I know Houston is one of those areas its to protect the home team or something dumb

EDIT: like this last year week 13 https://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2023&wk=13 Fox double weekend and Tampa were a CBS late game but enforced a blackout on the Fox games in the late window which would of been 9ers @ Eagles

This is hate week. It's different.

Vilma hasn't been able to hide his bias in our games in the past. Maybe he's mellowed. Greg Olsen was ****ing painful in week 1.

Hopefully tomorrows game is fun, thread should be a bit more lively then a normal TNF game with the public holiday in Vic
No surprise that the nfl scheduled this game on a public holiday to capitalise on the Victorian market.

I'm stunned that i tipped NY..... not that I'm a big beliver but more for the Dallas meltdown if they drop the game
