Dees have got a long bottom 6... 8 or even 10 and can't fill the hole left by Brayshaw. Thought after our game they were pretty average. Doubt they'll miss the 8 but not in the window IMO.
Lions, on the other hand have a bottom 2 maybe 3. We'll see how the gameplan holds up with the blow torch applied but looking the favourites for mine. Big reveal for both Lions and Geelong at the Gabba next week.

Or you can have the McGuire clause who suggested Goodes should promote a ape show on radio and was allowed to continue his roles in the industry for another decade.

Eddie McGuire is a racist flog. Him leaving Collingwood was the best thing that happened to us and the AFL. There is no room for racists like Kennett and McGuire in the game.

Who's the other team playing Geelong at the Gabba next week?

If he wasn't so egotistical, I would have thought last years premiership would have put a dent in his ego. Pretty sure he saw himself as the primary reason why Collingwood were a success. In reality, the latter part of his tenure was an anchor. Mad man drunk off his own bathwater.

Hes the anti Hayward in many ways. Really good on the scoreboard but struggles to do much else.
He's an elite goal kicker though. He can generate goals off half chances and create a goal out of nowhere. When you have a player like that you let them focus in kicking goals and have others mop up the aisles (so to speak).

No disagreement from me Fritsch is one of the most effective forwards in the competition. It's hrad to say what he does particularly well other than kick accurately but he wins his team games again and again.

I think Gunston was a superior player but I put them in a similar category as players who can have scoreboard impact with few opportunities.

Forwards like that can be a bit underrated but to have a player who rarely wastes an opportunity inside 50 is pretty valuable IMO. Few things more frustrating in footy than seeing the rest of the team work their arses off for an inside 50 to just go to waste.

Gunston far the better player. Fritsch has poor games if minded effectively because his big skill is to sneak away. The surprising thing is that it isn't done more often.

One game suspension for Charlie Cameron.

Some teams will be in the 8 by default.

Early days and our attitude could be different against a contender but can't help but feel that the likes of Port and GWS is what we should have done to Essington and West Coast respectively.

Made Essington look good early on and I believe that unfortunate hit woke us up early otherwise the momentum might have continued. They were also quite slack in transition. Only time will tell though, at least no one is looking like an all time team.
