Yeah, I just checked. For 2024 the entire swans team averages 6 contested marks per game. By contrast, JUH takes nearly 3 per game.

I've never really rated JUH but he's been good today. Seems like his game is finally coming together.

Both teams tonight are prime examples of why I think the media have just got footy in the 2020s so wildly wrong. Constantly going on about how Bulldogs and Bombers have underperformed with the talented lists they have. Yet all I see when I look at either side is about 3 blokes who are genuinely damaging surrounded by a mixture of average role players and guys who get massive Fantasy scores but you never really notice them in games.

It never shocks me at all that they're more often than not middle of the ladder sides, but it seems to always shock the media.

Yeah, I kinda get the impression he is on the cusp of being an A-Grade medium sized forward. Starting to look great everytime the ball is in his area.

I'm not aware he's ruled it out but he's probably happy enough getting paid decent coin to shell peas rather than taking on the stress of a head coaching role.

I used to think the Bulldogs list was overrated, I still do kind of.

But it would drive me insane if Beveridge was our coach.

it's like he's playing schoolyard footy, and he knows he's a chance of taking any mark he goes for
he looks like he wants to go for everything
