There is no way he has Hill speed, he doesnt even have Lamar speed.
Apparently, by the comments....he never got caught from behind at LSU, often only needing to run as fast as he needs to. Tho I do remember him getting caught from behind on several occasions at LSU.

Apparently Fields hit 22 mph, so dunno, maybe it's true? He looks as fast as Fields has.

We have seen past reports of Daniels' supposedly running a 4.5 during his time at Arizona State, so let's use that number for this purpose since he didn’t run the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.

As for how Daniels would compare to the all-time quarterback times, let's check in on the top five.

Where would his 40 time rank all-time at the quarterback position?

PlayerTime (year)
1. Michael Vick4.33 (2001)
2. Reggie McNeal4.40 (2006)
3. Robert Griffin III4.41 (2012)
4. Anthony Richardson4.43 (2023)
5. Justin Fields4.45 (2021)

Yeah, I think Fields speed is a decent comp, I would class Lamar as faster than Fields however, maybe not long speed but Lamar has far better acceleration and that is far more useful in the NFL. Daniels issue is he doesnt have Fields body to absorb the hits.

Fall from grace...

Yep, massive bust. Sort of reminds me of Denzel Mims, had the physical attributes and tools you want in a WR but against better competition than college was found out.

From 2023.....Rookie Jalin Hyatt reportedly recorded a speed of 24 MPH at Giants training camp. The fastest speed recorded in NFL HISTORY was Tyreek Hill at 23.2 MPH (2016). Usain Bolt’s top speed in the history of his career was 27.8 MPH.

Browns signed head coach Kevin Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry to contract extensions.
The Browns from 2020 to 2023 had their best four-season stretch since the late 1980s under Stefanski and Berry. The Browns in 2020 made the playoffs for the first time since 2002 and won their first postseason game in 26 years. Stefanski seemingly worked miracles with the Cleveland offense in 2023, using five different quarterbacks and riding Joe Flacco into the playoffs after Deshaun Watson’s season-ending shoulder injury. Berry, meanwhile, has helped build one of the NFL’s most dominant defenses over the past four years. Berry and Stefanski have stabilized an otherwise unstable Browns organization.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said DB James Bradberry is taking reps at safety during mandatory minicamp.
The Eagles added a pair of corners early through the draft and are now giving the veteran Bradberry looks at safety. The 30-year-old joined the Eagles two seasons ago and has started every game he has played at cornerback. If this is a permanent move, rookie first-rounder Quinyon Mitchell would be slated to start at corner across from Darius Slay. Bradberry would split reps at safety with Reed Blankenship and C.J. Gardner-Johnson likely starting. Bradberry was a second-team All-Pro corner in 2022 and the Eagles are now looking to utilize all the secondary talent they have with as much versatility as possible.

Steelers signed CB Cam Sutton, formerly of the Lions, to a one-year contract.
Sutton, 29, played for the Steelers from 2017 to 2022 before a one-year stint with the Lions, who released him in April. Sutton in April was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic battery. He’s been accused of domestic battery by strangulation, a third-degree felony in the state of Florida, where the incident allegedly happened, according to SportingNews.com. Sutton faces up to five years in prison if convicted. He has nine interceptions over seven NFL seasons.
