5. Blakey - despite some defensive lapses early, was our only dangerous/competent looking player for all four quarters.
4. McLean - brutal contested marking, though faded against Draper in the final quarter when we really needed him. We wouldn't have been in a position to win without him so can't mark him too harshly.
3. McInerney - dominant first half and key moments in the second, back to his best and then some.
2. Rowbottom - about our only winner in the middle. Impact was limited given he was feeding it out to teammates so out of form but did well
1. Hayward - only really played the second half, but it was a very good second half and got us back into it.

YPOTY: Campbell - good game in challenging circumstances after a lean patch. Still plenty to work on but used his evasion to steady and use his left boot well, and was tough in the clinches when it mattered.
