It really was a case of us against the rest, felt like old times. I pointed it out through the week along with a few others that these are the type of games we always lift for whilst most thought we had zero chance (where's the guy who put four figures on the Hawks?).

If we can't replicate that manic pressure next week Swans will run over the top of us even though the SCG does suit our high press

Mitchell sooked hard. Said "one of our very young players had some very agressive words said to him after the game by a much older man who has been in the game a long time and our captain took offence to that and went to his defence."

Said he hadnt spoken to Hinkley and wont. Was very pissed.

Logan Evans was very good in defence. It was a complete game. Defensively strong with his spoils and tackles. Plus his skills and composure were on show. That sets him apart from a lot of defenders. That pirouette in the last quarter was a joy to watch.

To think he still has upside. A bright career ahead of him.

Congrats on the win against the odds, against the umpires. Good on Hinkley for giving it to the biggest up themselves flogs in the AFL. Can't listen to Hodge have a sook anymore after a Hawthorn loss if it was the other way around would be laughing. Can dish it out but can't take it back. Now just need to flatten the 2nd most up themselves club starting with Warner first bounce.
