Would this be the best VFL team we've ever seen?

FB. Cleary Keath Buss
HB. Freijah JOD ------
C. Baker Macrea Gallagher
HF. A.Jones Bedendo ------
FF. Clarke Gardner Rypstra
R. L.Smith Sanders Harmes
It’s seriously strong when you then add CCP and Bianco. I wouldn’t mind JOD spending a couple of weeks up forward if he’s all clear and not in the AFL teams. Given recent form, if for whatever reason one of our KPFs missed games I think I’d rather keep Lobb in the backline and either go shorter of play JOD forward.

I'd rather go short in the forward line and keep JOD developing in defence. I also wouldn't be suprised to see Beveridge have JOD spend some time up on a wingas he has speculated about previously.

Where is spicer at anyone know. If both teams can stay healthy we could possibly win two premierships.

Did Freijah look quick? I haven’t worked out if he is or he isn’t yet. I haven’t seen him run down yet but I can’t work out if it is his lopey ( it’s a real word) running style that makes him look slower than he really is.

Definitely very quick - acceleration and straight line speed but not sure of tank. No reason to doubt just hasn’t been playing much wing at senior level and big step up in gut running.

AFL-listed trio James Harmes, Ryan Gardner and Kelsey Rypstra will return from injury in Sunday’s VFL clash between Footscray and Frankston.

Joel Freijah comes out of the side after being named an AFL emergency, while Connor Smith and Chan Hargraves have been omitted.

Josh Sparkman has also retained his spot as the 23rd player.
Footscray will look to record back-to-back wins when it meets Frankston at Kinetic Stadium from 12pm on Sunday.

The match will be broadcast free to air on Channel 7, with score updates also available via @FootscrayVFL on Twitter.

Freijah is one of the quickest on our list
His 2km time trial was pretty high up at draft camp last year IIRC. Seems like he'll develop well as a 'repeat runner'

Don't rate Orgill at all. Good VFL player and hard at it. Don't think he has enough skill or athleticism for the next level.

I don't understand that one at all.

Yeah, he loves a tackle but that's about it. Doesn't get it enough and doesn't seem like a high ceiling player.
