watched this game and thought that the Ladies did very well to be in the game all game. They applied and never let up on the pressure.
BMoody reminds me of MKruezer in the way she rucks and plays.
Skeper was Carltons BOG for me.
Our defense was solid and responsive to the pressure Freo applied.
The one thing that I dispare of with AFLW is the standard of umpiring. So many times they ignored the front on head tackles that Freo made on our players, the constant pushing in the back being ignored, the disposal by hand being throws or simply dropping the ball in a tackle.
As a specticle it is the umps that need to improve.

Yep, so much “licence” given to players. The most frustrating sight is a tackled player going straight to repeated punches on the ball to facilitate a bounce. It is bad enough in the men’s game, but ridiculous in W. Look closely and you will see multiples through games of these punches when both arms are free. It is a farce. One incident yesterday, and it op was one of our players at fault, a not so emphatic tackle on the wing resulted in said player stopping, holding on to the pill and waiting for the ball up. Which indeed came. Except on two occasions for the benefit of the locals, in the back didn’t exist.
