List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft

The draft content never sleeps. Louis Emmett is one of the most intriguing talents in the 2025 pool. A 198cm forward/ruck who competes hard and loves to fly for marks. Moves really well for his size, is excellent at ground level and loves to attack the game.

Welcome back. We should be a pretty popular board for 2025. At least for top end prospects 😂

I took a massive 3 day break and now I'm refreshed and hyped for 2025.

Got the K’s in your legs?

Got your weekly programming mapped out?

Are you ready?

Got an early top 5 to 10? Any personal favourites?
I watch the games differently than others because I'm mostly doing it while editing. The kid I'm editing for is my focus, so outside of them I tend to mostly pick up on guys that are doing something really special or crazy highlights. While I probably watch as much junior footy as anyone... I get to know a lot more about the kids as I work through editing for them specifically and focusing on their play over the course of the season.

Which is basically just an excuse to say that I don't want to give lists or top 20s as I'm just not ready for that yet. I haven't done much for the 25 crop yet.

My early favourite player in this pool is Fred Rodriguez from WA. Elite skills on either side of the body, hand and foot paired with decisive decision making. Fantastic running power and bust of speed. Attack focused.

Yeah really liked Rodriguez’s futures game.

Gonna be a fun year knowing we could get two of Greeves, sharp, Rodriguez and Duursma if they keep progressing.

Looking at our list now- a glaring hole I see is a quick/ creative playmaker off half back.

Yes, Tom Brown is a good kick, and one that I hope finds a home in defence, but I’m looking for someone with a bit more speed and flair.

Assuming we take Dyson Sharp with our first pick, I’d love to see Josh Lindsay have a breakout year and announce himself a top 5 prospect.

Side note: good mates with Lalor having both attended Geelong Grammar.

I think Fred would complement the beefy boys you picked this year perfectly being a smaller and speedier type in the McKercher mould.

Not that small, 184cm. Check with THE_GUN he’ll be 191-193cm come draft time. ;)

But he and Greeves are my early two favs for us, use the ball so well. But I can easily see a world where Sharp is impossible not to take at 1. I very much assume we are finishing last 🤣

184cm will be bordering on dwarfism in our 2026 midfield.

I wonder why Greeves is not making any of these top 10 articles.

We need Norf to finish below WC if we want Rodriguez. Or Eagles to get the Chad.

This the guy we want to replace Nank. He is a good chance of taking the no.1 mantle off Sharp next year so be great if we get picks 1 & 2.

St kilda has entered the chat.

If both us and North don't finish bottom 2 somehow, then I'd be keen on securing Rodriguez & Hibbins-Hargreaves to give us some genuine outside class to round out the midfield mix.

Us not bottom 2?

I wouldn’t want to spend pick 1 on a ruck. Hasn’t been one since Josh Fraser. Grundy was the last projected ruck going at 1.

Nic Nat went no.2 and should have gone no.1 if not for Shebourne changing their mind last minute and going Watts.

Emmett is a better prospect that Nic Nat at the same age. He is the most promising tall most recruiters have seen since Nick Riewoldt and Jono Brown.
