If Lalor and Smiley are what we think they are we won't need Sharp. We'll need outside balance. Line-breaking pace and skill. If only FOS were a year younger.
I'm sure we can make it work, we have Norf's pick to get someone more outside. Can just play Lalor forward if needed.

Fres & Dyson with Kellaway late should do next year

2027 midfield will be complete
Lalor , Smillie , Fred , Sharp , McAuliffe , Hotton , Taranto , Hopper

Small flankers
Clarke , Seth , Alger , Banks and a few others hopefully stepping up

KP fowards will have had 3 pre seasons
Faull , Armstrong , Fawcett , Gray , Lefau - plenty of backup

KP Defenders
Gibcus , Balta , Trainor , Blight , Miller , Young - plenty of backup

Rucks
Nank , Ryan , Sims - Whith the 2 basket ball players 0r Samson hopefully taking over Nanks #1 Ruck position

We are getting some serious 1st round talent on the list

Not that I should be wading into other teams' list builds but you're missing names from 2026.

Leys and Tanner Armstrong to go somewhere for you guys just before attacking the Tassie draft.

The draft content never sleeps. Louis Emmett is one of the most intriguing talents in the 2025 pool. A 198cm forward/ruck who competes hard and loves to fly for marks. Moves really well for his size, is excellent at ground level and loves to attack the game.

Could he play on the Wing? Seems to have both inside and outside attributes.

think Richmond have played it brilliantly just before tassie comes in and will be ready to fire in 2028-29

And better....
We 100% need another inside beast
Sharp eliminates the need to find another big inside beast with run and defensive pressure
Fres should be the dual sided outside player that gets a run inside at times but Dyson Sharp is a must , top end talent

After 4 or 5 years of shit development? No thanks.

I said he’d ask for a trade I didn’t say we would do it

Sometimes I just want to get you into a little brother headlock and scruff your hair

Agree outside line breaking needs to be a focus, but with the versatility of Smillie and Lalor you can fit Dyson in with a Hotton and someone like Fred (haven’t seen enough to say it’s him yet). That looks more balanced. Need to see how Ross and KMac2 fit in though.

One of my absolute favourites in the 2025 draft crop is Fred Rodriguez from WA. Slick and clean with his hands, able to gather difficult ball below his knees. Elite skills off either side of the body by hand or foot. Attacking instincts to burst forward into dangerous space. Strong running power on the outside.

He was excellent at the Champs as a bottom ager, one of WA's best for the tournament. Here we see most of his game on full show, although his left foot was a little less lazer sharp than usual.

Fred Rodriguez. What a name.

Sounds exactly like the type of player we'll be after too.

BUT WAIT!

We’ve got more.

Sharp and Rodriguez perfect pairing.

Adelaide and WA clubs will hate us. Will be glorious.

dios mio!

We didn't take Lalor pick 1 to play him forward.

Depends what you mean by play him forward. At all? He will play forward a little bit.

His endurance needs works. And his marking up forward would've been one of the main point of differences in picking him vs other prospects

not requesting a video to be done but just informing you that there's at least 1 person interested in oliver greeves (me). although all I've seen of him is the futures cut you did so I'm a tentative fan at this stage
